Snorkel up, because today Jen + Lillian go for a dip in one of Jersey's most picturesque lakes! There are fish, turtles, kelp... an entire drowned village... um, sorry, what? Enjoy the crystal clear waters of Round Valley Reservoir and its horror movie body count!

Sometimes, it only gets as bizarre as your own backyard. Today, Jen + Lillian romp through one of Jersey's most beloved pastimes--murder! In true Murderino spirit, we deliver to you our most chilling hometown murders: a family bloodbath in 1969 Jersey City, and everyone's childhood dentist gone horribly wrong in Phillipsburg, NJ. 

This week, Jen + Lillian take you to a creepy northern corner of Jersey--bucolic Hamburg, home of the fabled Gingerbread Castle! Once a bustling tourist destination in the 1930s, this dilapidated, decrepit witch's lair is home to countless Hansels and Gretels, confections of cookies and peppermints, and walls full of the bones of children. 

(Yes, that last part is real.) 

**Attention! The name 'Midgetville' is the longstanding name of the legend, so we use this word to refer to the location only. People are referred to as little people.**

Today, Jen + Lillian take you for a what-the-everloving-fuck romp around some of the most whispered about mythical places in Jersey--what the legends refer to as 'Midgetvilles.' Don your tin foil hats and get ready for midnight joyriding, palatial circus estates, and people of all sizes coming for you at 3am. 

Jen + Lillian return to the action with Therese Mahler, a DJ for WFMU and a longtime employee of Action Park! Therese gives us a taste of what she fondly remembers as her best job ever: summers at the Alpine Slide, being a human lightning rod, and biting it so hard that you need a cautionary sign made in your honor.
