Fyr Rok Gym & Coffee Shop is a space and conversation to explore the outer limits of our curiosity and creativity. Fueled by chess, cheerios and way too much coffee, this space and conversation will find's its roots in fitness without fear of exploring anti-fragility, art, entrepreneurship and beyond.

In episode two of season 2 I start with a bit of story time from the week, when the plan went out the window. I talk about training lately, what it means to chase the Bear, Coffee I’m drinking and books I’ve been reading, podcasts listened to and the Rocket Boys Book Club (which we will actually call the Rocket Rex Book Club). I’m working on getting settings adjusted to allow for more music in the episodes, hoping in the next couple week’s we can make that happen. Ep. 12 Magnificent Morning Mutiny
We have plans, and then the change, sometimes gracefully, sometimes not so gracefully. On this particular morning, I recorded Fyr Rok on the way to school, just after our sons attempted a mutiny to keep me home from work. While I was certainly going to be late, some recent adjustments in nutrition, training and mindset helped me not only appreciate this mutiny for its underlying meaning, but also as an opportunity to reflect on the process I’ve been working through as of late. This is a slightly different style episode, and my apologies in advance for the language, I’m working on it.
