Our baseball, softball, and soccer teams celebrated their seniors this week. Pictures will be at the bottom of the newsletter.
Students from Sunny Hill Intermediate School toured Haywood Middle School to learn more about the school they will attend next year. They met administrators and teachers and toured the building.
As part of our series spotlighting school social workers, we sat down with Haywood Middle School social worker, Lenora Oldham, and talked with her about her role in HMS and HCS.
East Side Elementary had an art/talent show on Thursday that showcased the talents of teachers and students at the school. ESE also had their first Career Day which we'll showcase with a story next week.
We'll also be taking a closer look at the partnership between Jackson State Community College and Haywood High School that allows students to complete an Associate's Degree by the time they graduate high school.
