Because April is Stress Awareness Month, we thought we'd have a conversation stress, stress management, what it means to be a Christian in times of stress along with questions of good and bad stress and what the first step in a healthier lifestyle could be. We're joined by highly esteemed, Dr. Michelle Woody who graciously shares her insight and wisdom on this topic. Join them as they share stories, laugh about memories, and share wisdom around the topic of stress!

Dr. Woody is a faculty member of DTS-Washington, DC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and ordained minister, and a conference and seminar presenter. Her ongoing training and teaching interests include social and cultural issues for women and at-risk youth, K-12 public education reform, and working in inpatient mental health facilities. Her passion is to equip and empower clients through counseling interventions and creative educational strategies. Dr. Woody enjoys international travel, college sports, health club workouts, teaching in youth ministry, and spending time with her children (Jason, Lindsey and Kelsey) and her poodle (Jordan).

In our first episode, we'll introduce a little bit about who we are and what we're about. Our topic for June is self-love. Is self-love biblical? Does showing too MUCH skin or too little represent our morality? Does God care about how we dress or our body confidence? All these questions and more are discussed by the women of gaLtalk.
