Quick Bites #30
Looking forward to the new month. There are so many incredible people out there to chat with.
After some deliberation, I've opted to change my streaming times. On top of that, I'm leaning towards Sunday as being the Discord watch party day. Unless things take off this year, the timeframe of 6 pm-8 pm seems to work for a lot of people.
Head to Spotify, check out the latest Quick Bites and let me know your thoughts on streaming, discord, and the watch parties.
Quick Bites #29 - Celebrating 2 years!

I also would like to thank Screambox for all of the amazing support and opportunities given to the show. And this week especially, to the special guest, Shawn Roberts.
Thank you, everyone. Let's make this show big this year!
The Beauty of Art w/ Tara R. Dunbar
Quick Bites #28
This year is all about growth. I've gotten a lot of compliments and praise from listeners and people looking through the episodes and SM. However, a show can't survive on compliments alone. Following the podcast and sharing the episodes go a long way. Liking the episodes, interacting with them, and commenting - all of those things will help the show grow. For those of you who have been continuously supporting the show! I never thought I'd still be doing the podcast thing. Now that the show has reached its 2-year mark, it's entered the 'make or break' era. I'm dumping a ton of attention and effort into this show, so if it's something you've truely enjoyed, I encourage you to show some support.
I've looked into sponsorships for a while now, but most want an average of 1-5k downloads/listens per episode. On average, this show gets about 20 listens per episode. The numbers are something many agents look at as well for potential guests. So, the lower numbers also work against the show's growth. For as much good that is attached to this podcast, it's just in a precarious spot right now. So, September 2024 marks the ultimatum time for the show. Until then, I'll keep working on making the best quality episodes I can, and if things take a turn for the better then there is much more in store for the show!
What's on the Tape? w/ David Hoernig
I had an immensely fun time chatting with David and hope to have him and his co-host back on the show someday. If you'd like to check out their stuff, the links are listed below.

Quick Bites #24
Spotify wrapped has been very helpful this year. Since I started focusing on making episodes more consistently, the analytics Spotify offers have helped shape how I'd like to approach the show in 2024. I'm grateful for the consistent listeners, those who share the podcast episodes, and the many guests I've had this year and the ones to come.
Forbidden Origins authors and creators recently launched a Kickstarter for their animated series. They're pushing the envelope on what an author can do with their writing and lore. If you can, head on over and show them some support.
I want to have another watch party soon. If you have a movie you'd like to watch with everyone, go ahead and leave your movie choice below, and make sure to join the discord. I'm unsure if other platforms show the questions attached to each episode, but I'll also start posting the questions on Instagram and TikTok.
Cheers

Beyond the Book w/ Armani Salado & Eric Martinez
This episode was a blast to record. Armani Salado and Eric Martinez are not only my first straight-up sci-fi authors on the show but also uniquely tackling their authorship. Utilizing the tech of Blender, Unreal Engine, and Daz 3D, they aim to build a whole new sci-fi universe for people to fall in love with. They're very ambitious and have a lot of great insight concerning what they want to accomplish.
For more information, check out their website and Amazon page.
