Happily : #FNEmoviemonth (26 of 30)
This movie - was...not was I was expecting. I'm not sure if that was a good thing or not. I'm not even fully sure what to think about this movie. Listen if you've seen it or don't mind being spoiled - or you can watch it for free now on the Roku Channel right now even if you don't have a Roku.

Extraction : #FNEmoviemonth (25 of 30)
Happy Saturday best friends! Today I FINALLY watched the 2020 Chris Hemsworth action motion picture, Extraction - from the studio that brought you The Floor is Lava! I really REALLY enjoyed this movie - but don't just take my written word for it. Go and listen now. Then meet me back here after. Wherever here is...

Insidious: Chapter 3 : #FNEmoviemonth (24 of 30)
Last year I started the Insidious franchise, and I have to tell you I kinda have a guilty spot in my heart for these James Wan/Leigh Whannell horror series. This wasn't anything special, or anything all that original (of course that is rare for a 3rd part in a franchise) but it was effective and enjoyable for the folks who enjoy this franchise. And it's free to stream on Tubi.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness : #FNEmoviemonth (23 of 30)
Okay, so I lied. I thought I was more than likely done with superheroes and with Marvel movies, but then out of nowhere I looked on Disney Plus and saw that this movie was already available after debuting in theaters about a month and a half ago. Well, it was out of nowhere to me. I had no idea it was coming this quickly. And of course as I talk about this movie - be warned of spoilers. If you haven't seen it yet and you care about spoilers, don't listen. Download still obviously - but then go watch the movie and come back and listen. I'll wait for you....

No Time To Die : #FNEmoviemonth (22 of 30)
Month. Movie Month. This is by far the latest I've finished a movie month day this year - but that's what happens when you watch such a long movie and start it so late! Today I went on another action adventure romp, but this time with better acting, better action, and way better effects. I liked it. I hope you watched it already, because I definitely spoil things....
June 23, 2022
Red Notice : #FNEmoviemonth (21 of 30)
I realized today that this isn't the last Ryan Reynolds movie I have on my list this year. It might be the last one I watch - the third one this movie month - but then again it might not be...It was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be - and I'm okay with that.

A Quiet Place Part II : #FNEmoviemonth (20 of 30)
Shhhh! You have to be very very quiet if you want to survive this podcast. Today (I'm typing this as if I'm whispering) I watched a pretty good sequel to a really good movie. I shouldn't say too much else, or otherwise I may draw too much attention - not that "too much attention" has ever been an issue for this podcast....

Riders of Justice : #FNEmoviemonth (19 of 30)
June 20, 2022
The King's Man : #FNEmoviemonth (18 of 30)
Happy Saturday fellow good looking people! Today I watched a prequel to the Kingsman movies that is simply called "The King's Man." I did not like it as much as the original 2 Kingsman movies, mainly because it was not as good as those movies - BUT - I still found that there was stuff in there to enjoy. So I enjoyed that stuff.
June 19, 2022
Old Henry : #FNEmoviemonth (17 of 30)
Sometimes a movie comes along that just hits you in the right spot perfectly, and today was one of those movies. A very small western with great characters, great acting, and some moments that left my jaw hanging right open. Well one moment for sure. If you are into these types of movies I highly recommend it it. Listen only if you watched because there will be spoilers.
June 17, 2022
Free Guy : #FNEmoviemonth (16 of 30)
Happy Thursday movie nerds! Today was a lighthearted fun romp, and my second (and still possibly not last) Ryan Reynolds movie of the month. And his second movie directed by Shawn Levy. Watched it early today so I can (hopefully) enjoy the Celtics tonight. If you don't follow basketball, you'll probably realize how they do tonight by my mood tomorrow....But until then - enjoy this movie. I did.
June 16, 2022
Pig : #FNEmoviemonth (15 of 30)
We're here! We're at the halfway point of year 9 of Movie Month already! Today I watched a Nicolas Cage movie that was NOT exactly what I was expecting - and that is in no way a complaint. Another rare, small, not-a-franchise movie today - with some fantastic performances.
June 16, 2022
Don't Look Up : #FNEmoviemonth (14 of 30)
I must say - I thoroughly enjoyed today's movie. I thought it made fun of how the world in this country is today, but also made me think - yeah there's a good chance that's how the world really would react. What made this movie more fun is that part of it was filmed in Massachusetts at the beach I take my dog to in the Fall and Winter. I went down there when I knew they were filming, and although it was after the fact there were still some remnants of the production. There were these huge tents that I assume they used for the cast and crew, and then there some things I saw that made it on camera. I this scene, where people are watching a rocket launch....Well that was all digitally added - but the countdown clock screen was very real... And with all the reports and news vans there - you get a glimpse of one on camera. That was one of three prop news vans I saw there that day. Cast wise it looks like it was mostly extras - but maybe some of the actors who spoke were actually there, but it looked like a lot of work went into something that was only on screen for a couple minutes. Makes you realize just how much goes into movies. And again this movie - I really liked....#JustLookUp

Werewolves Within : #FNEmoviemonth (13 of 30)
Welcome back movie nerds! It's a new week and a new day of movie month. I wonder if I should start a new tradition of watching a horror movie on the 13th day of every month. I may have accidentally done so it the past - and this is probably more of a dark comedy than a horror movie - so maybe...maybe I'll start a new tradition of doing a horror movie OR a horror comedy on the 13th of every month. Or maybe I'll forget and this will be the last time you hear about it - either way I really enjoyed today's movie...

The Matrix Resurrections : #FNEmoviemonth (12 of 30)
Oh cool, another franchise. I knew I was going to watch this movie sometime this month, but it wasn't until this morning that I decided today would be the day. I love the first Matrix. I've seen the two sequels... This falls somewhere in between for me. I think it's probably the best sequel even though there were moments I was had no idea why things were happening, nor did I care enough to stop and try to figure them out. I just came along for the ride, which sometimes is good enough for me.
June 12, 2022
Spider-Man: No Way Home : #FNEmoviemonth (11 of 30)
Finally. Really, what else is there to say? Finally I saw this movie. Am I the last comic book and comic book movie fan on Earth to see "Spider-Man: No Way Home?" It is quite possible. Was it worth the wait? Hell, that is quite probable....but why not listen to find out for sure...
June 12, 2022
OLD : #FNEmoviemonth (10 of 30)
My dog woke me up at 5:15am this morning. So while I was awake I thought - let's watch today's movie. I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to watch, but looking at my list of potentials I thought - this one should be an easy one to get through this early. And it pretty much was. Sure there were a lot of eye-rolling moments, but I admit M. Night Shyamalan movies are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, even the more recent ones. In fact, this is the fifth Shyamalan movie that he's either directed or written that I've covered for Movie Month (including the first movie month movie ever). And I have to admit, I enjoy them all, and I enjoyed this movie - even though I know what I'm watching is not that great - there are still some fun/creepy moments to watch in between eye-rolls.
June 10, 2022
The Adam Project : #FNEmoviemonth (9 of 30)
What is this? A movie not based on a book? Not based on a comic? Not part of a franchise? Not a remake? A reboot? A reebok sneaker? Today I watched the Netflix film, The Adam Project. A fun action/adventure family-friendly movie revolving around time travel. Gee, I wonder if I liked it...
June 10, 2022
Venom: Let There Be Carnage : #FNEmoviemonth (8 of 30)
Happy Wednesday Geeks! Did you know that today's movie was not nominated for any Academy or Critics Choice Awards? However it was nominated both for "Favorite Movie" by People's Choice Awards and, more impressively, it was nominated for "Worst Film of the Year" by the Hawaii Film Critics Society. It lost out to Space Jam: A New Legacy. While this movie is not high art, it's not the worst movie I've seen (I'm talking about in these last 8 days even). It knows what it is and it tried to have some fun with it.
June 09, 2022
Scream : #FNEmoviemonth (7 of 30)
For six days I've yet to watch a movie that isn't part of some sort of franchise - and the tradition continues with the 2022 Scream. It was okay - better than Scream 4 - but most movies are....
June 08, 2022
Eternals : #FNEmoviemonth (6 of 30)
Eternals. That seems like a fitting title for a movie that just kept going and going and going. I didn't hate this movie, but I far from loved it. It just - was. Going in, this was the Marvel movie I was looking forward to the least and in that sense it did not disappoint. That being said, there was stuff I enjoyed in it. What exactly? Well you'll have to listen to find out.
June 07, 2022
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore : #FNEmoviemonth (5 of 30)
It's Sunday Funday fellow Earthlings! Today I watched the most recent moving picture in the Harry Potter universe - the one not many people like or saw in the theater. There's some stuff I did like about it and stuff I didn't - and I talk about it in my backyard again. WHAT A PODCAST!
June 05, 2022
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings : #FNEmoviemonth (4 of 30)
It's Saturday! It's Day 4 - and it's Marvel Again! Today I watched the quite enjoyable action-adventure comic book romp, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." And right now as I am typing this my dog is at the door - so I am going to go take her out. I hope you enjoy my thoughts on this fun movie.
June 05, 2022
Ghostbusters: Afterlife : #FNEmoviemonth (3 of 30)
It's FRIDAY! I'm in a good mood because the weekend is here, the Celtics won last night, and I finally watched the new Ghostbusters movie that had me smiling pretty much the entire time. I mean, did you really think I was NOT going to like it?
June 04, 2022
Black Widow : #FNEmoviemonth (2 of 30)
It's Thursday! It's Day 2! And I am finally getting back into the Marvel swing of things. Tonight I watched Black Widow and almost got the entire podcast recorded before my friend showed up to watch the Celtics game and almost ruin this wonderful show. Almost - I'm too professional to let that happen.
June 03, 2022
F9: The Fast Saga : #FNEmoviemonth (1 of 30)
Wait, it's June again already??? Boy did that go by fast! I can't believe it's already year 9 of Movie Month! This year, I am ready to watch 30 more movies (Movies 241-270) in 30 days - and then talk about it right here to all your smart, good looking people with amazing taste in podcasts. Let's kick off the year going back to a world that some say is furious. Some say is fast. Some say is dumb. Some say is silly. I say - can't it be all of the above!?

MARCHY McFLY 2: “To Be Concluded...” (31 of 31)
We did it! 31 days of Marchy McFly 2 comes to an end with the 31st and final watching of "Back to the Future Part II" and this the 31st and final podcast episode. I saved the biggest for last as I do my best to retell the movie, scene-by-scene, with nothing but my memory. Did I get everything correct - I seriously doubt it. Do I care that much - I seriously do not! It's not about being perfect - it's about having fun and enjoying this movie, which I definitely did even with all my critiques. And while one chapter of Marchy McFly comes to an end - remember there are only eleven months until we get to do it all over again, and I sure as hell cannot wait!

MARCHY McFLY 2: “I'm Back! I'm Back From the Future” (30 of 31)
The final day before the final day is upon us! Day 30! I can't believe it's already here. Today, I pretty much finish up any notes I had left and talk about what I plan doing tomorrow for the big finale of year two. Oh, today I finally saw the razors Biff obviously uses for his cocaine addiction. One more time, tomorrow!
March 31, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “There's Only One Man Who Can Help Me!” (29 of 31)
It's the final Tuesday of Marchy McFly and just like the title states - there is only one man who can help me! Tonight that man is my long-time friend and former guest on the show, Jason! This is the man that helped change my perspective on Crispin Glover, and a man who makes a shocking discovery about one of the major characters of this movie IN REAL TIME while recording the podcast - so If you don't listen to this I'll never forgive you...
March 30, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Manure!! I Hate Manure!!” (28 of 31)
This is the final Monday of Marchy McFly 2! There shall be no more McFly Mondays! I can't believe we're almost done! Today I feature part of a behind the scenes video I found, and also talk about a SyFy video called "7 Things From Back to the Future II That Actually Happened" which is hardly close to what the video actually is. I was so disappointed that I didn't include any audio from it - I just talked about it. Oh, and I almost forgot - I tried to make a 32 year old sitcom theme song mesh with this 33 year old movie and still have it someone relevant to recent events (or dare I say FRESH?). See you tomorrow!
March 29, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Biff's Guys Chased Me to the Gym And They're Gonna Jump.....Me!” (27 of 31)
It's Sunday! The Final Sunday of Marchy McFly!!! Today I watched the movie right after grocery shopping - and then talked about it a little while later. I go through some notes and - well to be honest it's been about 10 hours since I recorded and I don't remember exactly what I did. Hooray for me! See you tomorrow.
March 28, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “I'd Like to Have That in Writing.....Yeah, Me Too” (26 of 31)
Happy Saturday, Buttheads! Today, I go through a few notes and realize as I'm recording who the richest man in Hill Valley is in 2015. I also talk about an IMDB Goof that I brought to "Goof Court" (a term I just made up that no one uses). Listen to hear the outcome (or spoil yourself and look at the screenshot below). And since it's the weekend, I recorded another song - this one (slightly) paying homage to drummer Taylor Hawkins, who recently passed away, while still being on brand for this here podcast. Until tomorrow, loyal listener... MY IMDB CONTRIBUTION (Or Challenge of Someone Else's Contribution really)
March 27, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Maybe We'll Bump Into Each Other Sometime Again in the Future...Or in the Past” (25 of 31)
It's Friday!! The last Friday of Marchy McFly 2 - wow how time flies by like a DeLorean stolen by an elderly bully...Today I focus mostly on the "Back to The Future Day" craze that pop culture jumped on back on October 21, 2015. I go through a fun CNET article that "reviews" the technology of 2015, and play clips from when ABC played tribute to the day on their prime-time shows, did a feature on a custom DeLorean maker on Nightline, and (maybe once again, forget if I did it last year) play some audio from when Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd showed up (in character) on Kimmel. Listen to that ovation they get! See you tomorrow Future (and past and present) Nerds!
March 25, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Doc! Come In! Come In, Doc!” (24 of 31)
Happy Thursday, Slackers! Today I am joined by former guest of the podcast, Eric. He first joined me during JAWGUST, made a triumphant return in last year's Marchy McFly, and most recently came on to talk Taxi during Sitcom All Ye Faithful. For this one, we hang out for a while, laugh a lot, and even talk about "Back to the Future Part II" a little. See ya'll tomorrow!
March 25, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “I Told You. It's In This Book. All You Gotta Do Is Bet On The Winner, And You'll Never Lose.” (23 of 31)
Happy Wednesday Buttheads! Today I go over some of the awards "Back to the Future Part II" was nominated for - and a few it won. I also go through some of the "goofs" listed on IMDB. Then I discuss a tweet and an article I found about a very unique automobile that was featured in 2015 Hill Valley. Until tomorrow my friends....
March 24, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Biff Tannen, I Wouldn't be Your Girl Even if You Had a Million Dollars!” (22 of 31)
Happy Tuesday all you Martians out there. Hmm, that one wasn't all that bad. Anywho, today I mostly talk about some notes I took, including the chalkboard in Doc's garage and a Diet Pepsi bottle in the Cafe 80's. And I try to figure something out with the help of some audio wizardry....Until tomorrow!!!
March 23, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “The Timeline Skewed Into This Tangent Creating an Alternate 1985” (21 of 31)
Happy Monday all you "Doc Until You Droppers" out there. That may be my worst one yet. Anywho, today I focus mostly on that crazy, scary version of Hill Valley we get in the alternate 1985 (code name: 1985A). I go through the scene talking everything I see (mostly sex stuff) and touch a little bit on that great "Biff Tannen Museum" welcome video. See you tomorrow!
March 21, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: The George McFly Of It All... (20 of 31)
Happy Sunday you Future-holics. I wanted to focus today's episode on George McFly. After being such a major part of the first film, the character was barely used in this sequel, and we all know why. With Crispin Glover deciding not to participate in the sequels, producers turned to fairly unknown actor named Jeffrey Weissman to fill the penny loafers of Marty McFly's dad in the few scenes he was in. And yet - we still see Crispin Glover in this movie! This episode features the audio of a February 2021 interview with Crispin Glover from the Jon Interviews youtube channel and a February 2020 video featuring Jeffrey Weissman from the NJ Horror Con and Film Festival youtube channel. I found the photo for this episode on this Retro Lady Land blog post.
March 21, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “The School Burned Down Six Years Ago!” (19 of 31)
Happy Saturday my Marcherinos. Today I talk about some deleted scenes from the film "Back to The Future Part II" which I happened to watch for the nineteenth time in nineteen days. I also got a voicemail that I wasn't to happy about making some pretty big demands...
March 20, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Freeze, Sucker!” (18 of 31)
Happy Friday everybody! Today I watched "Back to the Future Part II" completely before work this morning. Then over 12 hours later I sat down to talk about it (after a fun night out with my wife, niece, and nephew). I wanted to focus mostly on some 1985A today - but I wrote this at 2pm - so I wonder if I end up doing just that....We'll find out in the future. Or the past.
March 19, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “All I Want is a Pepsi!” (17 of 31)
Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody! And while we did enjoy a boiled dinner tonight and I had a nice Irish stout during a Zoom happy hour with work (I finished the entire can!), I also took the time today to watch a little movie called "Back to the Future Part II" while also trying to avoid this frightening leprechaun that has somehow become a family heirloom...for real.
March 18, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “I Get Married in the Chapel O' Love?” (16 of 31)
Today I watched a little movie called, Back to the Future Part II. And then I made this amazing podcast about it where I pretty much just start reading through the IMDB Trivia page. Has it come to that already?
March 17, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Eat Lead, Slackers!” (15 of 31)
Today's episode was a lot of fun because I recorded it remotely whilst first driving to get a haircut and then later while walking my dog. You can hear my dog get into something gross as it happens and my all-too-real reaction to it. Plus we talk Back to the Future Part 2! Happy Tuesday World!
March 16, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “There's Something Very Familiar About All This” (14 of 31)
Happy Monday everybody. Fourteen days in and...sixteen days to go. I did math!!! Today I went over more notes and then found a post that I read hoping it would be better than it really was. Until tomorrow!
March 15, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Nobody Calls Me Chicken!” (13 of 31)
Today I focus on one aspect of this movie - the one that I think, no I know, I dislike the most. I am going to give you zero guesses on what that aspect is, because I am sure it will come as no surprise...
March 14, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “It Is Wild Gunman” (12 of 31)
Today I thought would be a short show. I talked a little about Wild Gunman video game and the 1974 game it was based on. I mentioned this video - but this video show better how the 74 game really was. I also went over a few notes before doing a deep dive on full movie cast list on IMDB. Turns out this this my longest episode of the year! Caffeine is a wonderful drug.
March 13, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Something Inconspicuous!” (11 of 31)
Happy Friday to all the McFlysters out there! I have no idea why I just said that. Today I spent some time going over notes, mentioned an article from and an article from, and went off on a bit of a tanget coming up with a sort've fan-fic scenario that ends very badly for the McFlys.
March 11, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “There Are Now Two of Me Here, and There are Two of You Here” (10 of 31)
Today I go through some more notes, start talking more about the 1955 part of the movie and talk a little bit about an article that I thought I was going to spend more time going through until I realized how terrible of an idea that was.
March 11, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “George McFly Murdered - Local Author Shot Dead” (9 of 31)
Today I focus on the newspapers of Back to the Future Part II. You can check out pics of each newspaper I talk about by clicking any of the links below: USA Today #1 USA Today #2 Biff #1 Biff #2 Biff #3 Biff #4 Doc Headlines George McFly Murdered George McFly Honored
March 10, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “You Look Great, Doc” (8 of 31)
Today I go over some notes and then talk about a 2014 article from, "25 Reasons 'Back To The Future Part II' Is Still The Best In The Series" which is mostly fluff but I still end up getting angry at it!
March 09, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “You're so - you're so....Big” (7 of 31)
Wowser has a week already gone by!? If my calculations are correct after today I only have twenty-four more to celebrate "Back to the Future Part II." Today I talk more about the new 1985 Marty and Doc find themselves in and how they hope to fix everything!
March 07, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Hell Valley” (6 of 31)
Sunday, Funday! Today I talk about a little movie called "Back to the Future Part II" for the sixth day in a row. I talk about a few notes I take and focus mostly on the new 1985 that Doc and Marty return to. Oh and there's a song, and a fun intro I have with some very special guests.
March 07, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Hydrate Level 4 Please” (5 of 31)
What better way to enjoy the weekend then the listen to me talk about Back to the Future 2 for the fifth day in a row!? Today I try to stay on topic in Hilldale and what happens in and around the McFly home. Try.
March 05, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “I Need to Borrow Your - Hoverboard!?” (4 of 31)
Happy Friday! Today, I talk mostly about the two hoverboard scenes in the movie, but I also go over a few notes including stuff I never noticed in the Cafe 80's.
March 05, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “Around the Corner at the Cafe 80's. Guy named Griff. Just say No!” (3 of 31)
Days keep on slipping...slipping...slipping - into the future....Yes we are already on day three of our 31 day adventure. Can you believe it? Today I talk a little bit more about 2015, about the antique shop (check out the picture I talk about during the episode) and the Cafe 80's. Oh and we have our first song of the year, doo doo doo doo......See you tomorrow
March 03, 2022
MARCHY McFLY 2: “You Mean We're In The Future!?” (2 of 31)
Welcome back friends to day two of year two. Today I start diving in a little deeper on some things, focusing mostly on our heroes getting to and being in 2015. I am sure I'll be spending the next few days sifting through this part of the movie alone! Don't worry - we have all the time we need...

SILVER SCREEN SUPERMAN : "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" (1987)
Finally this long lasting nightmare is over and I'm back with a new episode of "Silver Screen Superman" where today I watched (and live tweeted) about "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" from 1987 - the last time we see Christopher Reeve as Superman and Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor. Not the last time we see Jon Cryer as a Luthor though...

Twas the Night Court Before Christmas and while poems may be corny, I had to rhyme something with Dan being so horny. Welcome to day 7 everybody! SILVER SCREEN SUPERMAN : “Supergirl” (1984)
Took me long enough to get back into the swing of things - and the first thing I do since Movie Month is a Superman movie that doesn't even have Superman in it? Does this movie even count? How can I get away with this!? Easy! I make the rules - so this 1,000% counts. Yay!!! Enjoy as I go back to 1984 and watch Supergirl for the first time since...1984.

Blade Runner 2049 : #FNEmoviemonth (30 of 30)
Here we are once again. The end of another successful movie month. 30 more movies watched and podcasted about on a daily basis for 30 days. Eight years and I’ve still never missed a day. That’s 240 movies! And I wanted to end of a biggie, and I think I did! See you nerds again next year!

Blade Runner : #FNEmoviemonth (29 of 30)

Sound of Metal : #FNEmoviemonth (28 of 30)
I've had this on my radar all month long and knew without a doubt I wasn't going to finish out the month and not watch it - and I so glad for that fact. What a well-crafted movie with some fantastic performances. Everything I was expecting and more. So good.
June 29, 2021
Dragged Across Concrete : #FNEmoviemonth (27 of 30)
And we finish up the Christopher Morris Weekend Spectacular with another movie he's been after me to watch for some time. In fact, this has been sitting in the "drafts" folder on the website for over a year. In that time the Rotten Tomatoes score when up 1% and the service I used to watch switched over from HBO Max to Tubi. What does that have to do with the movie itself? Not much. It's a long one. It's a violent one. But was it a good one? Ooh that's called a tease - listen and find out!

The Guilty : #FNEmoviemonth (26 of 30)
Min ven Chris, og en af min vært på en anden podcast, har været efter mig i et stykke tid for at se denne film, så jeg dedikerer i dag og morgendagens film til ham! The Old Guard : #FNEmoviemonth (25 of 30)
Here's a movie that was not on my list at all, but I stumbled upon it this morning and said - yup, this is my day 25 movie. And then I watched it. And then I talked about it. And now you're reading this. There's really not that much else that goes into it. I'm a pretty simple guy.

The Raid: Redemption : #FNEmoviemonth (24 of 30)
Yet another movie that has been on my list for years and somehow I keep forgetting to finally watch it. Until today. Today I remembered to no longer forget to watch it. So I did. I remembered to forget. AND I watched it. Try to keep up.
June 25, 2021
Tom Clancy's Without Remorse : #FNEmoviemonth (23 of 30)
I know so little about the Tom Clancy literary world, or the "Ryanverse" - but I can tell that Amazon sees a franchise on their hands and will try to make that happen - starting with this movie (and their Jack Ryan series). Was this movie great? No. Was it okay? Yeah, I think that's the best way to describe it. Am I glad I watched? I think so. Either way, I do sing during this episode so that should be worth a download.

Insidious: Chapter 2 : #FNEmoviemonth (22 of 30)
I told you! I told you I was going to watch part two of this series, so you really shouldn't be surprised. Today I got home from Mystic, CT and either am watching the movie at home or I watched it early this morning in the hotel room. Can you tell that I wrote this on Sunday night? It's called PLANNING AHEAD!!!
June 23, 2021
Game Night : #FNEmoviemonth (21 of 30)
This one has been on the list probably since it premiered back in 2018. Finally getting to it and happy I am finally seeing it. You can use finally twice in one sentence. Yes you can. Anywho, I woke up super early to watch this one today because we're off to Mystic, CT today to go visit the aquarium down there. Staying overnight too, but there's no way I am not getting my movie in. I'm an adult with responsible priorities. Obvi.

Insidious : #FNEmoviemonth (20 of 30)
While it is hard for me to see Patrick Wilson married to another movie in a horror movie, I have come to terms with it and look forward to delving deeper into the "Insidious" world. Also - no road rage today! Happy Sunday!

Zodiac : #FNEmoviemonth (19 of 30)
Another movie where you're going to say, wait he hasn't seen that yet? Great movie. Pod goes a little off the rails when some jerk on a motorcycle flips me off for a reason I am still not sure about, but it happens whilst recording and well - there are no second takes!

Stowaway : #FNEmoviemonth (18 of 30)
This morning I enjoyed a little venture into space with my (homemade) breakfast burritos. The entire experience was a positive one. I really enjoyed my breakfast and I really enjoyed this movie. A total victory. Ain't life grand?

Nobody : #FNEmoviemonth (17 of 30)
I love me some Bob Odenkirk, so when I first caught wind about this movie I was super excited to see it. And then I saw it. And guess what - I'm probably more excited. This Nobody sure was somebody. I don't think that was a strong line to go out on, so I added this sentence so maybe you'd forget about that last one.
June 18, 2021
Boss Level : #FNEmoviemonth (16 of 30)
Another time related movie. Another TIME LOOP movie. And another time loop HULU original movie! The irony is not lost on me that I have been doing pretty much the exact same thing for the past 16 days of my life. I'm very meta. And this movie - is a lot of fun.
June 17, 2021
Nightcrawler : #FNEmoviemonth (15 of 30)
Today is another one of those, "You haven't seen this movie yet?" movies. And since the fact that this is today's movie already answers that question, perhaps I can take the rest of this text to just gush over how amazing Jake Gyllenhaal's performance was on this role. Oh you already knew that? Well, aren't you special...
June 16, 2021
Toy Story 4 : #FNEmoviemonth (14 of 30)
Finally! Finally, I've seen this movie. I can't believe it took me this long. I saw parts 2 and 3 in the theater, but missed out on this entry in the series. I then planned on saving it for a movie month, and don't even remember if I could have watched it last year - but here we are! Again, finally. To know the rest!
June 15, 2021
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang : #FNEmoviemonth (13 of 30)
Today I finally ventured to a place I thought I'd never go to see a Movie Month entry - Tubi! But after listening to a podcast (After Lunch podcast) mention this movie recently (aka yesterday) I realized, I'd never seen this movie! And it's that what true meaning of Movie Month is, kids? Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer, AND Shane Black? How could I not enjoy this 2005 take on the classic film noir genre...
June 14, 2021
Happy Superman Day! Today I celebrated the Man of Steel by watching – Superman III? On purpose? Well, you can imagine what I thought about this movie. On second thought, don’t imagine, listen and find out for sure!
June 13, 2021
Army of the Dead : #FNEmoviemonth (12 of 30)
So I watch this movie and enjoy it enough for what it is - but then forget to mention the "funniest" kill of the movie (think elevator) and I find out after the fact that there is an animated prequel coming to Netflix starring much of the same cast. I guess Netflix is in the Zack Snyder business!
June 12, 2021
Psycho Goreman : #FNEmoviemonth (11 of 30)
If you've never heard of this movie, that's okay - now you have. Watch it. Now. I'll wait. Okay, welcome back. What did you think? Me too. Bonkers. Silly. Weird. Dumb. All of the above. And so, so, so much fun.
June 11, 2021
The Gentlemen : #FNEmoviemonth (10 of 30)
This movie made me want to put on a track suit and get a much cooler accent. So much fun, and I am glad I finally watched it.
June 11, 2021
The New Mutants : #FNEmoviemonth (9 of 30)
Today, I rip the band-aid off of the X-Men franchise hopefully for the last time. The last couple X-Men moves have been pretty bad and it seems like the original franchise is going out with a whimper. Hopefully Disney will rescue (some of) these characters.
June 09, 2021
Doctor Sleep : #FNEmoviemonth (8 of 30)
I called an audible today. I fully went into today planning on doing a different movie, but when I went to the HBO Max site and saw this highlighted, I realized I've never seen it and I totally wanted to. So I did. And spoiler alert: I loved it. But still listen so you can at least hear my voice. My sweet, sweet voice.
June 09, 2021
Palm Springs : #FNEmoviemonth (7 of 30)
What is it with me and all these time related movies this month? Ain’t nobody got time for that! Is that still a thing? I kinda feel like that’s not a thing anymore. Oh, and I really dug today’s movie. Big Andy Samberg fan, and a fun as hell movie. Hulu’s website still stinks though.
June 08, 2021
Another Round : #FNEmoviemonth (6 of 30)
I'm not much of a drinker - but parts of this movie makes me wish I drank more. Other parts make me happy that I don't. All in all, there's movie won the Oscar for Best International Film. I have one simple rule with foreign language films - no English dubbing. Read like an adult.
June 07, 2021
Freaky : #FNEmoviemonth (5 of 30)
I like these Christopher Landon movies because they take an established concept and just add a little twist – and a lot of gore. Good family fun!
June 06, 2021
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It : #FNEmoviemonth (4 of 30)
The Warrens are back! I realized today that I really enjoy watching Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson play these characters, and hope this isn't the end. I think this might be the first "same day" movies where it was also released in theaters. Sure, I am looking forward to going back to the movies - but if I can choose couch over theater - couch win every times.
June 05, 2021
Godzilla vs. Kong : #FNEmoviemonth (3 of 30)
Finally I saw the giant lizard fight the giant gorilla. Did I like this as much as the last Godzilla movie? Well, you're going to have to listen if you want to find out. C'mon, you've come this far. Hit play. Do it. I dare you.
June 04, 2021
Tenet : #FNEmoviemonth (2 of 30)
I have to admit - this movie blew my mind. It could be related to lack of sleep, and I am pretty sure I understood a good 54% of what I was seeing - but what I did comprehend, I enjoyed the hell out of.
June 03, 2021
Bill & Ted Face the Music : #FNEmoviemonth (1 of 30)
The time has come. It's June again and here I am back for year 8 of Movie Month! Ready to watch 30 more movies (Movies 211-240) in 30 days - and talk about it to all of you cool kids. Let the good times roll with my first pick of the month - the 2020 "Bill and Ted Face The Music" - one of the many movies that totally got screwed by that pesky pandemic. But at least I finally watched it. Listen now to hear what I thought...
June 01, 2021
For the first time in a long time I sat down and watched the 1980 Richard Lester (sorta Donner) film, "Superman II." And let me tell you as great as Christopher Reeve is, this movie just was not as good as I used to think it was.
June 01, 2021
SILVER SCREEN SUPERMAN: “Superman: The Movie” (1978)
It's been too many years since I've last watched "Superman: The Movie" - probably the first memory I have of anything having to do with Superman. It's between that and Super Friends, but for the sake of this podcast - let's go with the movie. I had a ton of fun revisiting this movie on HBO Max, and I think this needs to be a yearly tradition movie - maybe at like Thanksgiving? I dunno, none of that comes up in the podcast. Or does it? Only one way to find out...
May 16, 2021
SILVER SCREEN SUPERMAN: "Superman and the Mole-Men" (1951)
Back in the saddle again, baybay! I told you I'd start watching all the Superman feature films to grace the big screen - it just took me a bit longer to get there. Today I finally rewatched the first time any DC Superhero was in the theater in a feature length movie (apparently 58 minutes counts) when I saw the kinda silly, kinda boring, "Superman and the Mole-Men" starring George Reeves for the first time as the Man of Steel.

MARCHY McFLY: "Roads? Where We're Going, We Don't Need Roads..." (31 of 31)
31 days of watching and podcast about Back to the Future is now complete. Marchy McFly is officially over.....for now. Tonight I try, while out for a walk, to give you scene by scene retelling of this time traveling tale. I know I don't get it all right, but I think I come pretty close. Thanks for sticking with the show all month, I really appreciate it. This one is for my father-in-law. My George.

MARCHY McFLY: "Like I Always Told You. If You Put Your Mind To It, You Can Accomplish Anything" (30 of 31)
Greetings from another day in sunny Florida. It's day 30. The final day before the final day! Guess what I did this morning? I woke up early and...wait for it...watched Back to the Future for the 30th time in 30 days! I recorded today's show from The Garden of Hope and Courage outside the hospital taking care of my father-in-law. They were only allowing two people in so I had some time to kill. Later on in the day, after visiting with him, I went into two stores and saw a total of three pricks without masks on. I want to fight the state of Florida. Oh and I talk about Back to the Future a bit (and even added a new thought!) Until tomorrow! Until our final day together!
March 30, 2021
Day 29! Coming to you from Florida, where old men walk out of Dunkin Donuts without masks and little tiny flames of fire burn in my eyes! But we landed safely yesterday and got to see my wife's dad before visiting hours ended. Went back and spent some time today (and brought him a Frosty from Wendy's). But of course in the morning - while just awaking from my slumber, sleep still in my stunning eyes - I watched Back to the Future for the 29th time! And tonight, under the cover of darkness, I roamed the untamed streets of Naples and talked about a few things - including this amazing movie that I will NEVER get tired of! Ever! Until tomorrow, my sweeties....

MARCHY McFLY: “I’m Afraid You’re Just Too Darn Loud…” (26 of 31)
Day 26! The final Friday of Marchy McFly! I had some plans for tonight’s episode that had to be scrapped due to lack of time (how dare real life get in the way of a podcast) but hopefully I can talk about it soon. I did get a voicemail from some anonymous listener who sounds vaguely familiar – and no it’s not me this time I swear!

MARCHY McFLY: "Erased From Existence!" (25 of 31)
Are you telling me that it's day 25!? Damn, I only 6 more days left! And tonight I thought it would be fun to look at those scenes that were left on the cutting room floor - the Back to the Future deleted scenes! I also mention the podcast "I Read Movies" that talks about the differences between the movies you love and the novelizations that were created from them. Check out the Back to the Future episode!

MARCHY McFLY: “There's A Rhythmic Ceremonial Ritual Coming Up!” (23 of 31)
Day 23! We're almost on the final week of Marchy McFly! Tonight I am joined by my friend Jason - a man I've been friends with for almost 27 years! The man I've played the most Sega Genesis Mortal Kombat with! A groomsman at my wedding! And my wife's wedding too! And a huge fan of Back to the Future!

MARCHY McFLY: "Please Excuse The Crudity Of This Model. I Didn't Have Time To Build It To Scale Or Paint It." (21 of 31)
Can you believe that after today there are only 10 days left in Marchy McFly!? It really does feel like I just started this project and now we're 2/3 of the way done! Today, I go over a few notes, read through a cool article from Curbed about filming locations, and sing in my back yard. Back to the Future FOREVER!

MARCHY McFLY: "Mayor Goldie Wilson! I Like The Sound of That!" (19 of 31)
Today, on this 19th day of Marchy McFly, I received a very special message from a very special mayor of Hill Valley all thanks to my good (and generous) friend and frequent guest of the show, Eric! And just like that I blame everything on Mayor Red Thomas! Check out the original video: Check out Don Fullilove's Cameo page:

BIG SCREEN BATMAN: "Zack Snyder's Justice League" (2021)
We did it! We reached the "end" (for now) of Big Screen Batman, where today I watched the FOUR HOUR epic retelling of Justice League in 2021's "Zack Snyder's Justice League" on HBO Max. Spoiler Alert: I enjoyed myself for four hours today. And then for another 50 minutes talking about it!

MARCHY McFLY: "No McFly Ever Amounted To Anything In The History of Hill Valley!" (18 of 31)
Day Eighteen! This second half already feels like it's going by faster than the first half. Before you know it, we'll be in the 20s and on the final stretch! Today I thought it would be fun to scan the IMDB trivia of the movie, but the page is SO long that I stopped and saved the rest for future episodes. Only 13 to go! Where does the time go?

MARCHY McFLY: "Hey, I'm Talking To You, McFly, You Irish Bug!" (17 of 31)
Happy St. Patrick's Day you Irish Bugs! Tonight I am joined by my long time friend Eric, who I've known since high school and who actually lives a stone's throw away from me today! We...sorta talk about Back to the Future. And there's a wig involved. Perfect for an audio podcast! Whatever - this still counts! SEVENTEEN DAYS DONE!

BIG SCREEN BATMAN: "Joker" (2019)
So many Jokers, so little time. Today I watched the LAST movie to (sorta) feature Batman on the big screen when I watched 2019's JOKER for the first time since seeing in the theater. Technically there are no more Batman movies to watch....Until tomorrow. Oh crap, that's not on the big screen. Oh well, I make the rules.

BIG SCREEN BATMAN: "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part" (2019)
Everything is still pretty awesome with The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, even if it's essentially more of the same. More of the same of a great thing can still be very good. A lot of fun, still great to look at it. And of course - LEGO BATMAN was there!

MARCHY McFLY: “This Has Gotta Be a Dream!” (15 of 31)
Beware the Ides of Marchy McFly! We're just about at the half way point of our adventure and today I talk more about a show than our favorite movie. Today, a brand new streaming mini-series premiered on Discovery+ called "Expedition: Back To the Future." Spoiler alert: I loved it. I only watched the first episode, but it was a must see for any BTTF superfan!

MARCHY McFLY: "What Did I Tell You!!? Eighty-Eight Miles Per Hour!!!" (14 of 31)

MARCHY McFLY: "Next Saturday Night We're Sending You Back To The Future!" (13 of 31)
He said it! He said the movie title! It IS in fact Saturday Night and once again I watched that Back to the Future movie. 13 days down 18 days to go. If you think I'm stretching now, wait until a week from now! In this episode I talk about an idea I had years ago that I hadn't planned on talking about until that very moment. I also go through more notes and talk about two cool create things I found - you can check both of them out directly: 4 Times Back to the Future: Welcome to Hill Valley Hill Valley Digital recreation by erenbudak

BIG SCREEN BATMAN: "Justice League" (2017)
We're less than a week away from what I am calling the REAL version of this movie that I watched again last night for the first time since seeing it in the theater. Even though there were still some things I enjoyed about it, I hope in the future, the 2017 Justice League will be forgotten for the epic adventure Zack Snyder is promising to bring us on next Thursday! And I'll be back here talking about it - again for the first time!

MARCHY McFLY: “What Are You Looking at Butthead?” (12 of 31)
It's Friday Night! And of course that means I am home podcasting - something I also did before this pandemic thing, and probably something I'll do long after it's safe to see the friends I've been avoiding. Oh and I watched Back to the Future for the 12th time in 12 days. Guinness Book, did I break any records yet? Maybe I will in 19 days?

MARCHY McFLY: "I'm George. George McFly. I'm Your Density. I Mean...Your Destiny" (11 of 31)
In this episode of Marchy McFly, I thought I'd talk about a little about the man behind the man who is the father of the world's second time traveler. Today's episode is dedicated to Crispin Glover.
