Emotional Intelligence
I have gone through the school of emotional intelligence, and I am happy to say that I have passed at least one test recently with confidence. Today I use an example from my own life to talk about emotions and how it makes such a difference when we learn to acknowledge our emotions, but do not let them control our lives.

Connecting with our children, and why it’s important
As parents, we are still humans. We have needs and desires. Sometimes, (a lot of times) we have to choose to connect with and love on our kids when it’s either not convenient, or not what we want at the time. It’s SO important to be able to make our kids feel safe, seen, loved and secure. Blessed But Still Stressed
2020. That’s all I have to say, and everyone gets it. It’s been nothing but a series of stresses, so much bigger than any other year I can remember. Normal things that might not cause anxiety for me are even starting to set me off. Some days I just CAN’T. I reach the end of my rope and have to reset before I can go on.
