b4Nashville with Michelle Wright
Growing up in Merlin, Ontario, a small Canadian farming community near Chatham, Michelle Wright heard the rhythm & blues and Motown hits coming out of Detroit, just forty-five minutes away. But especially, she heard the strains of country music since her parents were both country performers. "My earliest memories of music are singing in the car or spending the weekend with my father after my parents separated and watching him put on a rhinestone-studded suit to perform in." As a young girl, she tagged along to countless shows. "We were never a family band, but I got a lot of inspiration and encouragement from my mother. That's where my love of country music really began."

b4Nashville with Chris O'Brien, Founder and CEO of Forgotten Coast K9
Yes, music can heal the soul and do great things for people.  Normally we are introducing you to a new artist in hopes you will become a fan.  But tonight is different. Every day Veterans and First Responders are diagnosed with PTSD. Dealing with an ongoing battle at home doesn't have to happen alone. Service dogs help those that have served us in many ways. Typically the process to obtain a service dog can take 2-5 years. However, with our revolutionary training, through Top Tier K9, the process in getting an essential service dog to a veteran, or first responder in need, is less than six months.

b4Nashville with Minnie Murphy
Born in Seattle and surrounded by her talented musical family, Minnie Murphy's style was uniquely developed by listening to her mother’s jazz records, her father’s Celtic country style, and her Australian sister, Jamie O’Neal's country-rock hits.  She is a remarkable vocal stylist who truly defies genres and artist comparison.  Minnie was a signed Sony writer at the age of 17, where her musical roots first developed. For over a decade, she has been in Nashville, working as a writer and recording demos. She's currently a staff writer at Evergreen, where she's been represented for the past six years, and where she wrote her upcoming single, "Get Over It" alongside Don Bedell and Trafton Harvey. b4Nashville with Nick Hickman
For most artists trying to break in the entertainment industry, authenticity is the ultimate goal. While many artists search for a certain image or brand, rarely an artist will come along who seemingly doesn’t have to try to create this, he just is. Nick Hickman is such an artist. A modern country act hailing from Knoxville, TN, this now-Nashville-based singer-songwriter doesn’t try to mimic anything out there, and instead delivers a high-energy, genuine performance tempering a passionate show with heartfelt and genuine lyrics that are insanely catchy and singable. “What you see is what you get,” Hickman says. “I do not edit myself, I do not censor myself. I am just me.” It is exactly this unapologetic and real personality that draws so many to Nick’s music.
