We will examine the first of 4 confrontational situations: The Public Freakout. The first episode (this one) will the only episode that contains heavy context material and set-up. We must set-up what is known as condescension as a literary device. As you know, sarcasm and irony are used by philosophers and literary critics to help readers understand without it being "brainy" or "cranial." Condescension easily carries an altercation way above its climax. Understand how insults bring the Real back into space by using breaks in the signifying chains. We often self-diagnose ourselves with something in order to cope with the fact that we are "different." The internet found a market for people who felt ostracized. If it was for the best or the worst... I don't know but it happened.
