Gokul Padmanabhan is the Owner of Restoration Brokers of America.   Gokul has brokered hundreds of sales for restoration company owners.  I have an incredible conversation with him about business, growing and eventually selling.  There are so many takeaways from this conversation that I feel a lot of owners are not thinking about, me included.  For me, I focus a lot on working and providing value to the customer, but I have not thought about or dedicated enough time to build my business as my investment.  This is one of my favorite conversations I've had and I learned a lot talking with Gokul.  I can not wait to talk to him again and in fact, have already scheduled our next conversation.  Grab a notepad before you listen to this one!

Eric and Larry have been in the cleaning/restoration industry since 2008 when they started a cleaning company in California. They have since sold that company and are focusing on business consulting, virtual training through “MorningTechMeeting.com” and hosting a podcast called “The Blue Collar Nation”. Eric and Larry talked with me after The Experience convention ended in Charleston, SC. We talked about their backgrounds, starting a company in 2008, over coming business struggles, teaching soft skills, smart/dumb people, and a little red fireman’s hat. I had an absolute blast with these guys, they are both amazing!! I can’t wait to see them in Vegas for The Experience!

Joe Cerone is the Product Manager and Sales Representative for Sentinel Products located in Minneapolis.  Joe started working in this industry during college when he worked for a cleaning company.  He later started his own cleaning company before taking a job with Sentinel developing products and supporting the contractors.  Joe is one of the most driven people I know and was so happy to have him on the podcast.  We talk about Joe's background, his ambitious work ethic, Sentinel's products, volunteering, hockey and how the industry has progressed.  I had a great time talking with Joe and always enjoy spending time with him.
