#18: Invest in yourself
Throughout your life, all the people you meet, all the stuff you accumulate, all the situations you’re in, there will be one constant no matter what happens, its you. You will always have yourself. So instead of accumulating or enhancing the stuff around you, look inside you. Invest in something that will take you to the next level.
In this episode you'll hear stories from my life, strategies that I've read, and have ways to get started investing more in your future self.
#17 Create an external mind
In this episode we'll talk about the importance of creating an external mind, what does that mean, and why does it matter?
This episode comes from a takeaway from listening to David Allen, on the art of manliness podcast episode #543. He shares "your mind is a bad office, you need to create an external mind". Immediately after hearing this statement, I went about creating my own external mind that you'll learn more about in this episode.
Why would you create an external mind? It allows you to be more in the moment. Remembering information takes a lot of energy from the brain, it takes that energy from other things that would be much more productive.

#16: To help you get back on track, when you're off your routine
This episode empathizes with those that fell off of your routine. Whether it be from a tough situation, busyness, or a bad decision. This will happen, you must listen to your positive voice that sees the opportunity, sees your foundation, and sees the next step. The voice of negativity will live in the past, telling you that you've failed, you'll never make it, you're going to continue your downward spiral.
Which voice will you listen to? Which voice will win?
#15 Insights - What they are, how to experience more, and how to use them to make a positive impact
What's an insight?
The technical definition is to gain an accurate and deep understanding.
The application you’ll know is the solution that comes to mind when you’re not thinking about the problem at all. Maybe you’re on a walk, doing the dishes, or on a long drive.
How do you experience more?
Think back to your own life, when do you have your best ideas? Pay attention over the next few days and record the activity, location, and environment when this came to mind.
How can you make a positive impact?
Take your next step while you have the energy from the insight. This could be writing it down, scheduling time later, or taking the next step immediately.
