The #GamersVsCOVID19 awareness campaign is doing good things, and our impressions of TFT Mobile and the latest released set 3. Chase wants everyone to be aware of how awesome Streamaid on Twitch is going to be over the weekend, and there’s a lot of news coming from the world of competitive CS:GO.

TFT is getting a showcase tournament, but Chase doesn’t think this means it will have an esports scene. We’re all conflicted on the new ranking of Na’vi as the #1 team in the world, and the discussion wraps with the launch of Call of Duty’s Warzone BR mode.

Hey there GGWP-ers! This week, Magical is back, and the boys go over recent results in the LCS, and the LEC. The LPL is coming back too, but the LCK is suspended over the Coronavirus. Also, apparently, there’s a cult in Korea that’s partially responsible for it’s spread?? Speaking of the virus, we talk about MSI, and how/where/if Riot will be able to still pull it off.

After the break, the guys talk about the shiny new shooter on the block, Valorant! Then there’s the decision by Riot to shut down the boards --- Magical gives us a proper eulogy, and waxes poetic about armored bears. TFT’s 3rd set is happening soon in a Galaxy quite close to us, and EVERYONE is impressed by s1mple’s performance at IEM Katowice. Finally, Epic Fails returns, with the Fortnite developer crying “fake news” over an industry report.

Hey there, GGWP-ers! Chase and Pira team up this week (Magical is unfortunately sick) to talk about all things LCS, LEC, and esports around the world! First, they talk about Pira’s experience in the LCS press room last week, and give a few peeks behind the interview curtain. After the break, the guys talk about Dumbledoge’s retirement, the homophobia he’s faced, and the (lack of) response from Riot Turkey. A Project A community twitter account gets confused as a fake-official account, and Valve decides it’s time to be the LCS. Halo Infinity Esports are making moves, and Chase tries out the Game Theory motto for himself. Lastly, are the developers at Infinity Ward trying to sabotage the COD World League??

*HONK* We’re back, with the first 3-man pod of 2020! The Mad Maverick Magical joins Chase and Pira to give us BigBrain(™) analysis from the first week of the LCS and LEC, as well as looking ahead! Everyone is meh on Monday Night League, and Chase’s Concerns have been co-opted by everyone else.

After the break, the guys discuss the implications of the recent Youtube/Activision esports deal, and how the Call of Duty league’s opening weekend went down. Magical can’t believe some of the CWL team names, and we up the trainwreck ante with the news about the guy who sued for being muted in a videogame. Finally, we end on the least controversial topic of the week by previewing the CS:GO Blast Premier series!

THE DROUGHT IS OVER! Welcome back to the 2020 season of the GGWP, everyone! Magical is sadly out sick, so Pira and Chase jawbone about the LPL, LEC, and LCS for a bit. After the break, the two discuss the format changes in Riot’s flagship league, and debate the good and bad. Chase has his First Concerns of 2020 around Blizzard and their loss of OWL casters, and Pira takes them to task for being late on payments to Contenders players. Speaking of casters, it seems many of those former Blizzard guys might be heading to CS:GO - and Pira wants to ride along. Finally, we look back on some exciting viewership numbers for 2019, and Chase recounts his favorite bits from Awesome Games Done Quick!

After the break, Magical and Pira engage their inner trekkies on and get hyped for Picard, but Chase aint got time for that - UNLESS there’s more doggos. The Joker movie is out, but its director has a pretty bad take on comedy - we discuss. Magical takes us back to Japan with Demon Slayer, and Chase closes us out on a meta note with SuperHyperLiteral.

Hey there GGWP-ers! For the first time ever, we have a guest! Dom Roemer, former Riot caster and RPG enthusiast joins to have us roll for initiative before hyping up the newest DND Module released by Wizards of the Coast. We discuss OWL finals and how Magical is Big Brain. Chase has concerns about a few things, and  maybe a new nickname. We’re all excited for the new VENN Gaming network to launch in 2020, but not as much as we are about Ash Ketchum finally winning a Pokemon League title! All that and more, on episode 23!

Welcome back GGWP-ers! Worlds is on the horizon, so the lads get together to discuss the teams that have qualified so far. Then we discuss Papasmithy leaving the LCK broadcast for 100 Thieves, and Pira/Magical discuss the state of professional shoutcasting in esports (it gets serious, for a change). That, in turn becomes a discussion on working in esports in general, and Chase loses his sh*t over yet another EPIC fail. He then proceeds to defend the rats accused of spreading the Bubonic Plague through medieval Europe.

After the break, we talk new Smash DLC characters, the launch of River City Girls! Chase makes a plea to the listeners to find him an obscure film, before we launch into a discussion of satire and the new Jojo Rabbit trailer. Wow! 20 episodes in the bag - Thanks to all of you for listening! On this week’s show, the guys break down LoL playoffs on 3 continents. Magical compares TL to the Green Bay Packers, Pira REALLY hates Top Karma, and Chase’s faith is Larssen is rewarded. Also, Magical might actually be a time-traveller. WOW, what a meaty episode! This week, it’s just Chase and Pira (as Magical is out for vacation), but there’s a ton to talk about! First up, the continuing story of TSM and their precarious Jungle situation - including how Chase’s Unikrn is involved! We also preview the LCS finals, LEC playoffs, and Chase has a response for people who think G2 trolling and winning shouldn’t be allowed. Then we take a look at TI9 and get hyped for the CS:GO Berlin Major!

The LCS Playoffs are here! TSM benches Akaadian and get creamed by Clutch, we discuss. Then, we talk about the superior LoL region, and why Splyce is a solid contender for second seed. Twitch advertises porn to Ninja’s followers, and Epic Games screw up so frequently that we’ve made a regular segment about it. In other fails news, Valve decided to wait until we finished recording to release the TI9 groups. Magical sings the Soviet Theme Song (Spoiler alert: it’s Tetris). 

After the break, we all regret reading the Silmarillion in school, and Chase can neither confirm nor deny being paid by Lindsay Ellis to promote her youtube channel. MoviePass pulls a stunt that the Justice Department calls “Certainly unethical, and could be illegal”, and the gang declares its proud support of Team Momo in the Marbleympics (only on ESPN8, The Ocho)

This week, Magical and Pira duo up, as Chase is out of town! They take us through the LCS playoff teams, discuss the 2-2-2 Role Lock in OWL, and what went down at EVO 2019. Along the way, there’s plenty of detours down memory lane. Also, Nintendo is trying to keep Pokemon fresh, but all anybody wants is the National Dex back. Pira missed National Spider-Man day so he’s REALLY trying to make up for it, and Magical is practicing his death metal vocals for Aggretsuko Season 3!

It’s a bad week to be a G2 fan, as they lost finals in both Rocket League and Counter-Strike, but we’re excited about Rift Rivals anyways! Maybe too excited - things get heated when Magical and Pira try to decide who won the NA-EU Rapbattle, but they both agree on how hype the Avengers: Endgame re-release is going to be! A quick roundup of the state of the LCS, LEC, and the OWL opens the show, followed by some news about a certain franchise being purchased after much speculation. But this week is all about E3, as the guys discuss which games and showcases they were most excited about. Keanu Reeves is a national treasure, and Magical connects the dots to Valve’s Half-Life 3 prophecy being fulfilled. Speaking of Magical, he and Pira STILL want Shantae in Smash, but they’ll settle for Banjo-Kazooie content for now. Lastly, Pokemon Sword and Shield content has got pokefans excited the world over!
