*Fun Fact: Iowa has separate governing bodies for boy's sports and girl's sports; Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union. This means a few subtle differences including the boy's running the 1600m and 3200m events while the girls run the 1500m and 3000m events.

Coach Allen is a 2011 graduate of the University of South Carolina. He has been the Varsity head coach of the track and field program at Cuthbertson High School for 3 years. Coach Allen was named the Charlotte Observer coach of the year in 2017 as well as the Southern Carolina Conference Coach of the year in 2017. Coach Allen led the 2016 womenโs team to a regional championship and the 2017 womenโs team to an indoor state championship, 2017 outdoor conference championship, and a outdoor state runner up finish. Coach Allen led the 2018 women Cavs to the indoor state championship, regional championship, and a conference championship. This year the lady Cavs made it 3 indoor state Championships in a row, while the boy's were state runner ups!!!!

Mironda Proctor bio: Mironda N. Proctor, originally from Sumter, South Carolina, has been a part of interscholastic athletics for over 14 years. Her journey in track and field began as a standout athlete at Sumter High School, earning her a scholarship to compete at South Carolina State University, where she majored in Biology Education.
Upon graduating, she immediately started her teaching and coaching career. After coaching for a number of years on the middle school level, she began her first head coaching stint at AC Flora High School in 2014.
While there, her girls' team won the Region 4-3A championship in 2015 and had a number of athletes with top finishes at the state meet. She spent time as an assistant at Dreher High School as well as WJ Keenan High School, where both teams were successful on the state and national levels. After spending two years as an athletic director, Coach Proctor returned to her high school alma mater to be the head coach of the girls' program. While there, she traveled with a number of athletes to the Nike Indoor and Outdoor championship, in addition to attaining top region and state finishes, including a 2021 Nike Indoor National Champion. Coach Proctor currently is a Physical Education teacher at Richland Northeast High School and the director of female strength and conditioning. She is certified in USTCCCA Strength and Conditioning, USATF Level II in Sprints Hurdles Relays and Jumps.
