Surviving loneliness when you enjoy being alone

Surviving loneliness when you enjoy being alone

This week, Maria and Renee are talking about the joys of being alone and how it can affect you mentally. Clearly, being alone and feeling lonely are not the same thing. Renee has had a hard week and Maria has had a bad month, together they are putting the pieces together and helping each other to overcome this feeling that can sometimes lead you to some awful moments.

If there is a lesson to take out of this episode is to force yourself to do what your mind is telling you not to. Obviously, if your feelings are too strong and you simply can't get out of bed or find motivation, it is best to find professional help. But if you feel like you are strong enough to continue and just need that push, listen to this episode and you'll find that kick in the butt that you needed.

Undocumented Trans Latina with Eve Mackenzie Stiles

In this fifth episode, we had the honour of interviewing Eve Mackenzie Stiles. To celebrate pride month, we wanted to sit down with her and ask her everything we are too afraid to ask. From transitioning, to coming out to a Latin family, to changing her name 3 times until finding the right one, we had a very fun talk. Eve opened the doors (figuratively speaking) to her home in Indiana and told us everything about her life and how it is to live as an Undocumente Trans Latina.

Do not forget to follow her on Instagram and Twitter at @eveelociraptor or reach out to her if you have more questions or would like to be her friend.
