My Love Hate Relationship with Resolutions
Welcome to 2024 Girls!
Are New Year's Resolutions really centered around self-love and improvement? How can we actually accomplish our goals and what goals are worth accomplishing?
This episode begins with a film-focused pop culture catch-up. I discuss The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (and Tom Blyth), Saltburn, and finally Oppenheimer. I then get into the possibilities of following your dreams and what it means to be an actor and the idea of fame. Lastly, I explore the idea of resolutions and how sometimes they can be more harmful than helpful.

Being the Oldest Daughter During the Holidays
Oldest daughters deserve recognition for everything they do during the holiday season- from grocery shopping to wrapping gifts. In this episode of Girls Club, I go on a much-needed rant about my experiences this holiday season. I think this will be relatable for so many daughters in the Girls Club.
The episode kicks off with a pop culture catch-up or more of a "what I've been watching segment. I briefly recap and review, Wonka, Love Has Won, Shiny Happy People, and Black Swan. Then I discuss the drama of Santa getting canceled and the lengths parents go to for Elf on the Shelf. Finally, I discuss why being the oldest daughter during the holidays is one of the hardest jobs of all.
Happiest of holidays to all of you, thank you so much for listening!
TW: Please note this episode briefly discusses sexual violence during the pop culture catch-up segment.
