The Case For Travel

The Case For Travel

A recent New Yorker article titled "The Case Against Travel" critiques the modern travel - suggesting that our pursuit of fulfillment through our journeys is doomed; that perhaps our attempts to grow as humans, individuals, and citizens of the globe are misguided attempts at finding fulfillment. Some people in and outside of Globe Aware feel that the article is misleading. That, perhaps, there are more reasons to travel than the few that the article examines. This podcast contains two conversations — one with social media manager and podcast regular Sikha Naik and one with Globe Aware client Deb Young — that may add another layer to your consideration of travel as the complicated facet of the human experience that it is.
