At Globe Aware, we like to think we do a lot of traveling. In today's episode, Executive Director Kimberly Haley-Coleman and summer intern Toby Barrett reflect on their experiences abroad and explain some of their favorite travel tips — big and small — to make your life easier when you go abroad — with us or otherwise.

A recent New Yorker article titled "The Case Against Travel" critiques the modern travel - suggesting that our pursuit of fulfillment through our journeys is doomed; that perhaps our attempts to grow as humans, individuals, and citizens of the globe are misguided attempts at finding fulfillment. Some people in and outside of Globe Aware feel that the article is misleading. That, perhaps, there are more reasons to travel than the few that the article examines.
