Bookclub goes off script when Annie convinces JT to rob her gas station. The heroic delivery man intervenes and stops the crime, but in the scuffle he accidentally shoots Ruby! Annie might have found her calling as an EMT when she saves Ruby’s leg… and life. Other characters in this episode who can’t shoot a gun include Max. Max poses as Beth’s “ink guy”, confronting Rio in a plan to shoot him as revenge for killing Lucy. When he sees Rio, he chickens out. But not all is lost because Beth gave him Au Jus back. Let’s hope the kids don’t actually get a pet snake.
