We continue the Restored: a Journey to Renewed Hope series, as Pastor Mike Patz opens up Isaiah 58:1-12. We live in a world that is broken, but the church is called to be ones who repair, restore, and who bring about justice. We ask the question, "How to restore a broken world?" The people of God, the ones who have been restored, must be the ones who can fix anything. Our desire is for it to be on earth as it is in heaven right now.

Pastor Mike Patz continues the series, Restored: a Journey to Renewed Hope, with REST-oration. Despite all the modern technological advances, humans are more anxious than ever. But the heart of Jesus is revealed in Matthew 11:25-30. The places that we are exhausted in are places we are not yoked with Jesus in. He invites us to come, to get in the yoke with Him, and learn from Him.

The past few years have been wearisome, and many of us have lost our hope. Pastor Mike Patz begins a new series, Restored: a Journey to Renewed Hope, by opening up Acts 3:17-21. All of the "re-" words were promised to us by the prophets in the Old Testament. Everywhere Jesus goes, restoration follows.

The reason that Greenhouse Church exists,  is to help ordinary people become passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Pastor Matt Ulrich shares how this heartbeat of our church, based on Matthew 28:16-20, is what God has called us to do. We are all ordinary people, who God can use to do extraordinary things. As we come to the end of the Christmas season, we have been told that Jesus would be called Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father. Yet ultimately He came as a Humble King. 1 John 4:13-21 tells us that loving God began with God. God's love never fails, and never gives up. He became a man, and dwelt among us; He came near. Through the cross, He showed the great love given for us.

Pastor Matt Ulrich continues the What Child Is This? series. The Christmas season can can be one of the hardest times. If God didn't show up in the way we wanted him to, we may wonder how a baby in a manger going to help us with all the disappointments in our lives? Isaiah 9:6-7 prophecies the coming of a mighty King. This is again proclaimed in Luke 1:26-33 with, "... His kingdom will never end." Our seasons of brokenness can be used for His glory, when we bring the broken pieces back to His presence. 

The What Child Is This? series continues with a look at the Person of Jesus. The prophet Isaiah described what the Messiah would look like: Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father. Jesus came to fulfill this promise so that we may know salvation. Yet His coming also gave us a glimpse of what God looks like. In the personhood of Jesus, we can  fully know God, and come to be more like Him.

We welcome guest speaker, Pastor Joel Romelus, as we begin our Christmas series, What Child is This? with The Promised Seed. This Christmas, we desire for our celebrations to be formed from a deeper understanding of what really happened. The story of Christmas has been with us from the beginning, hinted at in Genesis 3:15. How did we get to the place that we needed a Savior? The coming King was prophesied in Isaiah 9:6-7. Let us worship Him!

The Open Heavens series continues, as Pastor Matt Ulrich takes us through the often confusing words in 1 Corinthians 7:1-7. Sex is an amazing gift from God, but we have hijacked its meaning for our own selfish purposes. What voice are you listening to in regards to sex? We must relearn what we have heard about sex, and align it to how scripture has defined it.

The Open Heaven series continues as Pastor Brooke Bauzon shares the heart behind 1 Corinthians 7. Singleness does not mean one is incomplete. When you're dominated by cultures values, you will always live in anxiety. But when you are devoted to kingdom values, you will always live in abundance. In every relationship, we are called to live in undivided devotion to Jesus!

This week Pastor Andrea Sarafan continues our look at 1 Corinthians, the Open Heaven series, with chapter 6.  Sexuality and Identity is such a difficult topic in the times we are in. We have all been created as sexual beings, and likewise we have been deceived by the culture around us. One of the lies we believe is that God is holding out on us. Sexuality is part of us, but it is not the heart or core of us. Intimacy with God is what we truly need to thrive in life. We are promised fulfillment through Him alone.

Our Open Heaven series continues with 1 Corinthians 6:1-8. Pastor Oscar Roche titles this message, From Lawsuits to Love. The people of biblical Corinth were so much like we are today. How does a gospel-shaped community deal with grudges? The lawless things can become so huge. We are challenged to be wise in the truth, and forgiving with grace, to live in an open heaven. 

Our motives matter! Pastor Matt Ulrich continues the Open Heaven series with a difficult look at 1 Corinthians 5. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to be transformed agents of transformation. When confronting sin, we must do so the way Jesus would, with grace. What is the heart behind confrontation? It always must be done in love.

As we continue the Open Heaven series, Pastor Mike Patz challenges us to Redefine Greatness. The church in Corinth was enamored with success and celebrities. In 1 Corinthians 4, we find that greatness isn't what you think. When the world is turned upside down, greatness is getting low like a servant. True success is found in taking up the towel and serving others. We are called to bend lowly like Jesus.

It's Big Give Sunday, and Pastor Mike Patz welcomes our mission partners, Life For The Innocent and Missionary Sam. John 1:1-5 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God... In Him was life, and the life was the light of men..." Every person, every child was made by God. In the midst of the great darkness in the world, the point of healing is the Light of God. Darkness will not overcome, as we accept the call to shine the light of Jesus!

Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, we have an Open Heaven today. Pastor Mike Patz continues this series with the reality of 1 Corinthians 3:9-15, The Judgement Seat of Christ. So much like we are today, the Corinthian Church was obsessed with wisdom. The lives we live on earth cannot be founded on worldly wisdom. The day of the Lord is coming, and we must live under the judgment of God, not the approval of people. How are you preparing for that day? Jesus is the only foundation, and when He is our foundation there will be peace.

Are you a person who lives naturally, supernaturally or in the flesh? Pastor Mike digs more into the book of Corinthians as we continue our Open Heaven series. Paul is describing immaturity in the Corinthian church, which is valuable for us to process as those following Jesus in the 21st century.

How do we unlock divine power? Pastor Mike Patz continues the Open Heaven series by breaking down 1 Corinthians 2:1-2. The temptation in our day is to be an activist while going quiet about the name of Jesus. We can't compete with the lofty ways of the world! When we have God we don't need anything else. It is never going to be enough to engage in human strength; we must unlock divine power.

Today Pastor Mike Patz continues the Open Heaven series by asking, "What is the Message of the Cross?" In 1 Corinthians 1:18-31, we see that Christ crucified is the manifestation of the wisdom of God. For the first century world, the belief was that wisdom was everything. So in this generation, how do you unlock the potential of a great life? "Let those who boast, boast in the name of the Lord!"

When Jesus shed His blood and died on the cross, a veil was torn between earth and heaven. In this series, Open Heaven, Pastor Mike Patz calls us to believe that there is now a reality that we can become the children of God. What blocks the open heaven? In 1 Corinthians 1: 10-17, we see that the gospel opens heaven wide, but division blocks it. If we want an open heaven, we must have a unified church. What is the source of that division is there division in your heart? That division must be removed for true freedom and blessing to come.

Pastor Mike Patz begins our new series on 1 Corinthians, Open Heaven, with a look at chapter 1. The church in Corinth was a disaster! The apostle Paul writes to this body of believers, and what we have today is a precious gift, with an address of the Mess, Message, Method, and Messiah to the current church. The gospel is not moral advice to try harder; it is an eternal announcement of what Jesus has already done!

We conclude the series, Ordinary People Becoming, as Pastor Mike Patz shows us that even in our ordinary faith, God shows up in great ways. He meets us where we are, not where we think we should be. In 1 Kings 19, God goes after Elijah as he is running from his enemies. The low time of spiritual blindness that Elijah is going through has been called the Dark Night of the Soul. He has prayed great prayers, and done amazing things, but he is still an ordinary man. We are prone to doubt, fear, and depression, but God has so much patience for us. He is speaking, and always our great Shepherd.

In his sermon, Ordinary People Becoming: The Life of Elijah, Pastor Mike Patz asks the question, "How long will you waiver between two opinions?" Sharing 1 Kings 18, we see the account of Elijah confronting King Ahab and the prophets of the false god Baal. He demands that idols be cast down. If the Lord is God, you must not only believe, but wholeheartedly follow Him. 

Pastor Mike begins our new sermon series on Elijah! How did God use an ordinary man like Elijah to do extraordinary things? We learn that stepping out in faith is just as important as having faith in God.

Today we welcome Jeff Hartensveld, the AGWM regional director for Asia Pacific, to the platform. He asks, What's Holding You Back? As we surrender more and more to Jesus Christ, we will see more and more happen around the world and in our communities. Romans 12:1-2 calls us to present our bodies, our minds, and everything about our lives for Jesus. The Lord wants not only the bad, but to use the good, our talents, our gifts, every part of our lives for Him.

He "didn't come to bring peace, but a sword." Pastor Brooke Baùzan continues our Difficult Sayings of Jesus series with Matthew 10:32-39. Are you a peace-faker or a peacemaker? Jesus came to bring true peace, and true peace takes effort! We've settled for cheap peace, easy grace, but Jesus is always about the real thing. The truth is, there will be conflict when you bring heaven to earth. We must allow him to use His sword to cut out the things that divide our devotion.

Your life is not your own! Pastor Mike Patz challenges us as he continues The Difficult Sayings of Jesus series, with the words of Matthew 18:1-9. We must be mindful of the "little ones". Jesus is not merely speaking of children, but of those who are young in their faith. As Christians we must take the lowly position. We must deal drastically with our own sin so that we will not cause others to stumble. There comes a point in our Christian life that we ourselves must grow up, not be easily offended, nor cause others who are weaker in their faith to be offended as well.

Healing is the children's bread! Pastor mike Patz continues The Difficult Sayings of Jesus series with the story in Matthew 15:21-28. Just as our children expect to receive bread from their parents, healing is meant to be the expectation of God's children, not the exception to the rule. It is God's will that we have salvation, no sin, comfort, mercy, grace, forgiveness, peace and healing. It's all in the bread!

Our Difficult Sayings of Jesus series continues as Pastor Mike Patz breaks open Matthew 15:21-28, Don't Give Bread to the Dogs. This passage takes place the only time that Jesus left Israel to go to the land of the Gentiles. There He encounters a woman with a daughter who is desperately ill. Jesus' comment to her could have very well been taken as an insult. God is willing to disappoint us in the short run to redeem us in the long run. Are we willing to trust? The call is to come to Him humbly, but to also come boldly to the throne of grace.

Where is your faith? Pastor Mike Patz continues The Difficult Sayings of Jesus series with a look at Luke 8:22-25. We all have different talents and abilities. Does faith feel like a talent that you do or do not have? The question isn't if you have faith; rather it's what are you believing? God wired you as a believing creature. Is your faith in Him, or a functional belief in something else? Jesus is teaching that you're either fixating your faith in a loving Creator, or you're believing in something else. He gives us an invitation to fix our eyes on Jesus rather than the storm.

How do you heal a nation? Pastor Mike Patz calls us as the church to use the gospel to heal the roots of sin. In the well-known scripture of 2 Chronicles 7:14, Solomon prays a prayer that is key to a godly land. Healing comes when we, the people of God, humble ourselves, and pray. God promises He will hear and heal the cause, the sin, of the sickness in our land.

Pastor Mike Patz continues our series, The Difficult Sayings of Jesus, with Matthew 10:5-15, Shake the Dust. We are living in an age when people are dustier than they've ever been: there's the dust of offense, bitterness, rejection... Pastor Byron Williams breaks down another difficult saying of Jesus; choose the narrow road.  We can have a saving faith in Jesus, yet still walk down the wide path of destruction. Staying on the narrow road isn't easy, but it's possible as we make daily decisions to follow Christ and his ways.

Pastor Joel Romelus, director of Made for More Ministry, kicks off our summer sermon series on The Difficult Sayings of Jesus, with a look at Matthew 18:21-35. We are all experts at counting the offenses committed against us: the sins, the pains, the hurts. It is so deeply ingrained in our DNA that it goes all the way back to Genesis chapter 3. But today Jesus tells us the only way out is through forgiveness.

Our Good Life series concludes as Pastor Zach Hornsby asks the question, "what makes a life good?" Jesus taught the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30, how the master gave to each person, expecting them to steward the gift over their lifetime. Money and my perception of it is not my identity. The longing of our soul is to hear Him say, "well done!" The good life is all about where our identity is found, and that is firmly fixed in Jesus.

The Good Life series continues as Pastor Matt Ulrich breaks down what the Bible says about our money, tithing,  and offerings. When we give our first and best there is no guarantee we will receive more. It's an issue of trust, an act of faith. Tithing and offerings are an act of worship, and a guide for generosity. Begin the adventure that comes as we dare to take God at His word and begin to be free in our giving!

Have you ever wondered what it means to live The Good Life? Pastor Mike Patz brings a message on Matthew 6:22-23, and explains the difference between what Jesus called a "good eye" and an "evil eye". A generous man gets translated as having a good eye in Proverbs 22:9. The Good Life is one marked by compassion. It is focused on one thing; being generous with others, seeing & responding to another's need. The truth about one who has an evil eye is when someone is greedy, stingy, according to Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. If you get your eyes right, your whole life will be right. It's not dependent on social status but rather the posture of the heart. Let's be people who look through the eyes of the image of God.

Our new sermon series, The Good Life, begins as Pastor Mike takes a look at Matthew 6:19-24. These words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, admonish us to store up our treasure in heaven. You can only have a good life with a good heart, and your heart always follows your money. Unlike in the game of Monopoly, the game of the good life is not won by accumulating more. Jesus gave everything up to buy the treasure that is you!

As we conclude our Who We Are series, Pastor Andrea Sarafan challenges us with our Missions & Generosity Fluency. The call in Matthew 24 is clear. There's only one thing left for us to do before Jesus can come back, and it's something we can do. "The gospel will be preached to all nations, then the end will come." The "unreached" means that they do not have access to the gospel. What matters to Jesus must matter to us! We're called to make disciples where we're at and be burdened for the unreached.

We continue our Who We Are series with a look at Matthew 28:16-20. Jesus commanded His followers to be going, and baptizing, and teaching to make disciples of all nations. If we want to make a difference, we'll have to get God's heart for making disciples. This means we start with being obsessed with Jesus, determined to live our lives as if He was living inside our bodies, because He really is.

"Choose today who you will serve..." Joshua 24:15-18. As Pastor Mike Patz gives the parable of the Three Chairs, he shares that Joshua saw the Israelites walk through the Red Sea with his own eyes. Those who came after him did not experience God that way. Do you have a first-hand encounter with Jesus? God only has children; He does not have any grandchildren. It was always his plan for one generation to speak to the next generation. We must be people of the first chair, who have a personal experience with God, telling our story to those who come after us so they can encounter the goodness of God as well.

What does the bible say about Grace? Pastor Mike Patz breaks open the Parable of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15. Just as in the time of Jesus, these days the worldly rule of life is anti-grace. It seems there are either humble people, or arrogant and self-righteous people. So many people are lost and alone, and the only way back home is through the amazing grace of God. Will you be a person of Grace in your relationships, one who reveals the Father's true heart?

Today Pastor Mike Patz asked the question  "why is Evangelism so awkward?" In 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 we are told: " God reconciled us to Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation..." We are called to be ambassadors of Christ to the world. There is no greater cure for the human heart than Jesus Christ! Let your salvation story fuel the fire of evangelism in your world.
