Welcome to the Drunken Hour, number 1. A show I decided to bring back individually to my podcast. For context, The Drunken Hour used to be a show I did back in the radio I used to run where I'd get drunk and talk with a co-host and / or interview musicians.
Because it was great, I decided to bring it back into my podcast... Enjoy it!
Essentially what the title says, stop complaining... Pretty much. People complain for everything and nothing. Result of me watching a livestream with someone playing Overwatch, which made me want to rant about how much people complain.
Also, October begins! Spooky episodes are about to come!
NOTE : This is coming out as a bonus episode as the 8 PM episode today but the main one will come later.

*STRONG LANGUAGE IS USED IN THIS EPISODE* This has been a problem for many years. People feel entitled because they live through monitors, computers and pocket devices. Someone who only listens to music thinks they can legitimately criticize musicians as if they know music for years. Gamers who play something nowadays think they can tell other people how to play games... Gatekeeping and entitlement is literally everywhere and it is causing toxicity in every single community that involves entertainment. Join me in this episode to find out more!
As someone who grew up in a small town in a rural region of Portugal, technology didn't evolve as quickly so I rapidly develop ways of entertaining myself. Many time i'd watch those iconic TV shows and then play out what I saw and try to replicate the moves and whatnot in my entrance hall. In 2009 it was my first time messing with computerized roleplay. So given i've got some experience behind me, I decided to discuss my thoughts on the current state of Roleplay. If you're unaware of a recent boom that happened via livestreams on Twitch, a server called NoPixel had a lot of huge (10k+ viewership) streamers join in and roleplay on GTA V, which lead to a massive influx of people and a tremendous growth. But with popularity, comes mediocrity so give it a listen and find out what I think about this whole thing!
Role queue in Overwatch brought more organization, that's without a doubt. But, is it really that positive?! Is it really that great? Find out my thoughts on it in the 20th episode of the Grinder's Verdict podcast!
I've been doing this for a bit now and rarely get any interaction with the listeners so if you listen to the Grinder's Verdict then please shoot me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Reach out to me for either suggestions, complaints or overall scheduling a conversation. Also join my discord server so that i'm easier to reach whenever!
We live in a world where globalization and today's ease of information, many times equivocate, makes people confused about who they are. I decided to make an episode sharing my opinion on this lack of identity of today's world. Let me know your thoughts once you've gone through it. Do you agree? Do you disagree? If so, why? I'd love to hear what you think about my opinion! You can reach out to me on twitter at grindersverdict or e-mail me to [ email@example.com ].

Big videogame companies are already doing this, however the ones we have to look out for the most are the small "studios". Those "studios" that have the ambition of 10 AAA titles without 90% of the resources. Don't throw money away, yes it's yours and you do whatever you want with it, but you are feeding something very negative! Curious? Listen to the episode!
Popular social media platforms are promoting sexual content in an unhealthy manner, due to its popularity amongst multiple demographics. Including children! And that's not good... Sex is a good thing in life, however when it becomes a product of marketing schemes it becomes something that's not as good as we think. Maybe I'm not explaining myself too well here, but... the episode has all you need to know!
This was meant to be a way of improving my talking capabilities so it was supposed to be a recording just for me or maybe to be released on Patreon. However I decided to share it as a regular episode because it might be helpful towards someone who might question their capabilities like I do. I doubt myself 90% of the time and I also procrastinate too much due to me doubting myself and again, my capabilities. I believe that with practice comes perfect so doing something like this is incredibly helpful to build confidence.

This one game had one, if not the best voice acting i've ever heard in my life. It made me feel so immersed that I'll never forget it... I also discuss a little bit of sound engineering complexities in video gaming and my thoughts on it.
So, in March of 2019 I decided to take a big step in my life and give up smoking, a practice I did for over 14 years and try vaping. On this episode I discuss the changes, how it affected my health, the advantages and disadvantages of going from one to the other among other subjects.
For the 10th episode, I invited Soozi, vocalist of Satlan and Dead Witches. Join us as we had a very special podcast as Soozi crossed London while talking to me. You should know by now that over here we do things differently and this was rather interesting for sure! Her career as a vocalist as well as her job, mental health issues and general conversation are some of the topics covered on this episode!

Continuing the subject of the last topic, "Understanding the Internet", I decided to talk a little bit about cyber warfare and how real it is.
Socials / Merchandise :
I've been wanting to do an episode talking about the internet for a while. Most people use the internet in a very irresponsible manner, not knowing the dangers that lurk within it and mostly not knowing how to deal with it in case something goes wrong. This episode is not about dealing with situations gone wrong but it's about preventing them and to provide an understanding, with perspectives that most might understand.
Ron from Surviving Life covers the horrors of the deep web in documentary videos for YouTube, among other platforms, in an attempt to help raise awareness to the dangers of internet usage. He joins me for a conversation about his work thus far and some discussion about pedophilia in the clearnet and deep web as well as kinks.
Find Ron at :
YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/foxcompanyprepping
Twitter - https://twitter.com/SwansonFox
With the new filter that makes adults look like children, is Snapchat part of the massive corporations taking control of the internet to facilitate pedophilia?! Interesting, is it not?
Here's my opinion on the subject of Snapchat applying this filter to their platform. Apologies for the "news" promotion and into an angry rant but I will improve the format in the future and bring to you an actual breaking news episode. I pretty much just came up with the idea as I rendered the file.
PLEASE NOTE that the podcast WILL REMAIN the same. This is just episodes released whenever there's something I feel like I could give an opinion on. Next Tuesday, the 14th of May, the new episode will be released just as usual.
Thank you for your time!
Here is something that has put me through multiple struggles throughout my life. On this episode you will hear me discuss opinons on the matter, how I cope with some of them and A LOT of experiences that I went through and still go through. I am hoping to help someone out there with the same conditions become better at coping with it and if possible, completely get rid of it.
For the fifth episode of the second season, we go into conversation with Russ McKamey, the mastermind behind the most extreme haunted house in America and perhaps in the world! Join us as we discuss what made Russ start his endeavours in the world of horrors and what his capabilities are and where they come from.
Find the McKamey Manor and schedule a tour at : https://www.mckameymanor.com/
As the title mentions, parents are not saints and I have a very strong opinion on the disappearance of Maddie Mccann. After watching the documentary suspicions became certainty, whether you like it or not. This episode is dedicated to all the naive people in the world. Those that don't look behind the curtains. That think miracles are an actual thing. That think people legitimately do good things all the time. Best of luck to you, you'll need it.
The United States of America, present to you another absolute moron. Influenced by the past stupidity and recklessness of teenagers in simpler times and an edgy movie from a mainstream director looking for his validation, a 21 year old dumbo who'd probably be happily sodomized by Varg Vikernes, decides to burn 3 churches as to show he's an absolute beast who can deal with inanimate objects.
I literally get mad at these people. When I post a picture, add some tags and then get like 4 or 5 followers to only see that the numbers in my profile didn't change or if they went up, they'll go down the next day. This is a practice that in my book is malicious, even though you might think it's "whatever, just disregard it lol".
Awareness needs to be raised, for as the scariest monsters lurk amongst us. Not in our minds, not in movies, not in form of entertainment platforms. No, they lurk amongst us. Dressed as business men, as care takers, as teachers, as parents. So you better watch out, before you become a victim.
As the title says, the world seems to be falling into a state of illusion more and more often. People hate to be told the truth, because it hurts... but well, DUH! So here are my thoughts on this subject.
Dark Souls was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in gaming, going from a completely random purchase to a game I cherished and enjoyed thoroughly, not only for what made it the most popular (its difficulty), but for everything else as I like to appreciate games as art. And Dark Souls is quite the masterpiece.
Apex Legends is nowadays a greatly acclaimed game that I bet some people would actually threaten me with death upon hearing this episode, but the truth has to be said and put out there! Apex is not perfect! It's hopefully getting there, but it's not perfect!
NOTE : This episode was recorded when the game had no updates to the things I mention or any sort of news on them either. As I upload this, game has been updated, dealing with some of the issues I had with it. Not ALL of them though.
There's been people out there claiming to be prophets and i'd just like to have some face-to-face interaction with them. See how hard they'd try to wash my brain with bleach. Many victims fall to this practice and it's NOT okay!
The KYS on the internet, that's right... A very sad and humiliating reality about mankind. People will tell others to kill themselves with ease without any repercussions. Sometimes it's taken lightly, other times taken without any concern and quickly forgotten, sometimes it does damage...
It's been out of proportion, how much catering goes on nowadays for the minority groups in society... Did you know that Citizen Cards in Portugal are supposedly getting rid of the gender specification? What the hell is that?! I'm a proud heterosexual male and I want to have that in the card! Why should my CC get rid of that because others are so easily offended?! Anyway, tweet me your thoughts after giving this a listen @grindersverdict. See you tomorrow!
This has affected me ever since 2010 or 2011 (can't remember precisely) and I thought I'd share my experiences with you beautiful listeners. Whether it helps you as someone who goes through the same or helps you prevent it or overall you just like listening to the podcasts, tweet me @grindersverdict. See you tomorrow!
What a title huh? Ha! Even I wonder what the hell I was thinking about? But it's sort of what I talk about in this episode... People who don't care about other people. I love the Internet and it is a great phenomenon but it is killing our humanity due to its comfortability. It's so easy to just not care and move on... When in person you have to deal with emotions, expressions and other human characteristics, on the internet you just click X. Anyways, see you guys tomorrow.
There are multiple ways of getting money on the internet. Some are legitimized by requiring effort and skill to reach monetization, others are not so needy for such succession. Today on the podcast I talk about this for a little bit, providing my insight and opinion on the matters. Thanks for listening! See you tomorrow.
It is everywhere! Specially on the internet... So here's me talking a little bit about it and hopefully it helps someone maybe change their way of acting upon other things they see. Spread some positivity guys! See you tomorrow.
Upon recently watching a video about sound design in video games, I had to do an episode on this. As someone involved with audio, music and whatnot for pretty much my whole life, this was massively interesting to me. Hopefully it is for you as well! See you tomorrow!
Living in a small town with crappy internet can be quite the handicap for a creative mind who wants to produce content to entertain others. Oh well, at least I can still record and upload these episodes. See you tomorrow!
Horror movies are becoming exhausting to watch, it's just redundant. Are they done? Is it going to just be a vicious cycle of possessed dolls, little girls and nuns? Big budgets turned into terrible movies? Hear my opinion here! Also an idea! See you tomorrow!
I'm pursuing voice acting. Why though? Here's a little episode giving you some lore and insight on why i'm pursuing this career choice and a little inspirational message as well that can hopefully help you find your calling! See you tomorrow!
We live in a robotic society, whether you like it or not. People are formatted since birth to accept this repetition in their lives, taking holidays and weekends as escapes from reality... But, should you be like that as well?! Cause I sure as hell am not! See you tomorrow!
Been very awkward my whole life and for this episode I decided to open up and talk about some things I never talked about before. Hopefully relatable things that some of you might take some advice and/or help from. See you tomorrow!
Video games have had an interesting growth over the years and here's my experience with them and what I think needs to be done to prevent addiction amongst the younger generations.

Frustrations can cause some high levels of stress. If you don't control it, you might get yourself damaged mentally and physically so watch out for that! As for me, i'll have to cool it with certain games until changes are in place.
Hello and thanks for passing by! What you can listen to here is a (hopefully!) daily podcast that I am going to be publishing with random thoughts and such that could possibly be interesting to someone out there in this vast world of the internet! In Day 1 I talk a little bit about my own depression and introduce myself a little bit. Hope it's of any use. Thank you!
