Ep- 33: Bloom where you are planted

As we go into 2022, we have had the opportunity to reflect on where we started as not just a podcast but also as a ministry under Bloom International.

Learning to BLOOM where God has you is something that Rachelle and Sherry are learning each and every day.  Over the next few episodes, you will get to hear from some amazing women that have not only spoken at one of Bloom International's conferences, but they are also a part of Bloom's Leadership Team.

What is God asking of you today?  What do you personally need to do to become rooted in Christ?

EP-17: Resting in Seasons

What does it mean to rest in seasons? Here from Rachelle and Sherry about what it means to rest in seasons

God allows us to go through different kinds of seasons. Through each season we have an opportunity to grow closer to him. As we go into each new season we are called to rest in that season. Maybe you are in the season of rest but don’t know what that even entails.

What season did you just come out of and what season are you currently in?

EP-16: Rest In Ministry-Sherry

EP-16: Rest In Ministry-Sherry

It does not matter what type of ministry you do, you can get burnt out if you are not listening and following what God wants of you.

It is important to have the emotional and spiritual rest in the Lord.  When you have that you are resting in the Lord.  You are resting your spirt in what he has for you.  We need to rest to refresh our spirits.

How do you rest in ministry?

EP-11: A Fight for Life

EP-11: A Fight for Life

Inga Lizdenyte was born in Vilnius, Lithuania.  At the young age of 22 Inga was faced with the crossroads of her destiny, she decided to fight for her life. She firmly believed that with God’s help she could reclaim her independence and was ready to work relentlessly to achieve her vision. Going against the circumstances and opinions of others, she aimed for goals that seemed beyond her grasp. Local prosthetic specialists tried to convince her that she would never be able to walk with artificial legs because of her physical condition it would be impossible. But she told them that she WOULD walk and would even dance, and they would see it. In spite of much advice – to come to terms with a “disabled lifestyle” – she researched online about prosthetic legs worldwide, emailing prosthetic companies. This way, the Lord connects her with an American prosthetic specialist, who believed that her dream was possible and decided to help her. He invited her to come to California, USA and made artificial legs for her as a donation.

After hard and relentless work, Inga fulfilled her vow. I walked and danced, just as I said I would.

Since 2005 Inga has been living independently in California. She is self-sufficient in spite of her physical limitations, work, travel, and build relationships, all the while helping others. For 13 years she worked as the Public Relations & Volunteer Coordinator at Disability Services & Legal Center (DSLC).  Now her mission is to share a message of hope and help others. Today she is a Keynote Speaker on Inspiration, Empowerment, and Christian faith.  Certified Life Coach, and Author of the book “UNSTOPPABLE. It’s a Choice”.  Inga mission is to inspire others with her story, share the message of inspiration and faith,  and empower individuals to persevere, overcome, and achieve.

EP-10: You Deserve This Not That-Deborah Brunner

EP-10: You Deserve This Not That-Deborah Brunner

Deborah Brunner is a Confidence & Empowerment coach who believes women who have been in toxic relationships can use their painful past as fuel to heal and crush self-doubt so that they can stand confidently in their worth and start creating the dynamic life they desire.

After a near death experience, she was deeply motivated to change her life. She traded in her life of domestic violence and substance abuse for an incredible fulfilling life. Deborah’s story, at least parts of it, is all too familiar in modern society. Where her story differs from most is not her will to live, which is remarkable, but beyond this point to a place where she picked up the pieces, reconnected with family, gained a degree, and continues to flourish, putting tough life lessons into meaningful action. It is a story of triumph.

Deborah’s natural ability to engage and inspire will benefit anyone seeking to adapt, overcome, and excel over adversity. Her motivating story and impassioned plea is that you too can rewrite your own narrative. Deborah shares her insights and wisdom with women survivors to help them navigate the minefields of adversity into stepping stones of success.

She believes we should assist and applaud the will to survive, take time to listen, and stand and cheer those who triumph in the face of insurmountable adversity.

Deborah is the bestselling author of the book, “You Deserve This Not That: Living an Abundant Life after Near Death, Abuse and Addiction” She is a veteran of the U.S. Army, a wife, and the proud mother of two boys. Deborah received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Change at the University of Green Bay, WI.

She has been involved in Toastmasters, a public speaking organization, for the past 9 years and during that time has held many positions at both the Area and District Level. She enjoys inspiring women to turn adversity into success through her coaching programs and speaking events.

She firmly believes strongly all women are worthy:

Worthy of being safe

Worthy of being respected

Worthy of being loved

Worthy of living the dynamic life they desire.

and trails that come my way. In this podcast I hope to encourage you to live joyously, to have

fun, to live your best life right now. This is not easily done you have to constantly choose joy,

choose positivity, and most importantly choose God. With God’s help I do believe that you can

do this, that you can have the life He intends for you to have.

EP-3: The unseen Oak-Rachael

EP-3: The unseen Oak-Rachael

In this episode Rachael shares her testimony of how God allowed misunderstanding to take everything she loved, every dream she had, so He could spend beautiful time with her and tend to those desperate and decaying roots. She explains what has happened in her life when she chose to be unseen.

If you have ever been to Florida you might have seen some of the beautiful giant Oak Trees with branches that touch the ground and reach for the sky. Just like these trees we can look beautiful on the outside while hiding the fact that our roots are rotting in despair. But what we keep hidden from the world God sees. He wants to heal this part of us before the next major hurricane comes and blows is over, exposing our roots for all to see.

Rachael's word for 2020 is-IMAGINE and God has shown her in so many ways how imagine has been such a big part of this season.
