This current political climate is polarizing and made us question if politics are a dealbreaker when dating or in relationships.  A person’s political views reveal a lot about them and can affect intimacy. How do you discuss politics? What if your significant other votes the opposite party? Watching the DNC and RNC raised questions for us about navigating relationships when you are politically active. Black men, women, and children are continuously murdered by police. This episode unpacks our feelings about being black in this country, discussing Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd, the dangers of “Karen”, white privilege and guilt, the need for justice, and standing up for black lives. The ladies talk long distance dating as preparation for these new times,  commitment to health with your partner, and surviving the stay-at-home mom life.
