Freedom means having the ability to act or change without constraint. A person has the freedom to do things that will not, in theory, or practice, be prevented by other forces. Freedom is an extremely broad subject. I could be about freedom of speech, expressing your own opinions without having to fear any persecution. or about freedom of movement, An extension of this, you can consider freedom in a geopolitical sense, like independence.

Previewed in the text was how patriarchy became significant in the past years victimizing the women of the olden days. The ruling command of men seemed to put free will under compromisation. This reality of the past contradicts the beliefs that the youth of our current generation fights for.

Here in our country, we, Filipinos still believe in marriage. We know how important it is to get married before living together. Because marriage is a lifetime commitment of two persons and it is with God’s permission that two people who bow in front of Him should not be separated. In our culture, the family of both parties is very involved in preparing the marriage of two couples.

Nonilo pointed to the closed front gate; he was sure he had left it open when he ran out. The brothers suspected that Cabading was lurking somewhere in the darkness, with his gun.

Back in Sta. Mesa, Gene and Nonilo had the painful task of telling Leonardo the situation on zapote. When he phoned, that Lydia was back in the house on Zapote. "Why did you leave her there?" cried Leonardo. "He'll beat her up! I'm going to get her."

A moment in Sta. Mesa, Pablo arrived in Sta. Mesa where he found Lydia and Leonardo sitting on the sofa. Why have you done this?" her father chided her gently. "If you wanted to move out, did you have to run away?" To Leonardo, he said: "And you - are angry with me?" house by themselves.

As expected, Mr. and Mrs. Cabading showed up in Sta. Mesa, looking and demanding for their daughter.  Nonilo Quitangon cried: "Abah, what have we do with where your daughter is? Anyway, she's with her husband." At that, Cabading ran to the taxi, snatched a submachine gun from a box, and trained it on Gene Quitangon.
