October 22nd - Free Agency, Reaction to Blackhawks Statement
After a minor technical difficulty, GWTF is back with a 2-for-1 episode. First Nick, Dan, and Kevin discuss what unfolded in free agency around the league and the number of trades we saw thus far.
Finally, the boys take a deep dive into the state of the Chicago Blackhawks and react to the open letter to fans from the organization; what it means, and what the Hawks are going to look like the next handful of years.
September 10th - Conference Semifinals, Bobby Ryan Masterton, Pierre McGuire the GM?
This week, Nick and Kevin react to the results of the 3 Game 7's we saw in the Conference Semfinals and what the landscape looks like as we are down to 4 teams. Senators forward Bobby Ryan won this year's Masterton Trophy and the boys discuss his story as well as the two other nominees, Oskar Lindblom and Stephen Johns. Pierre McGuire was recently removed from the running to be the next GM of the Coyotes, Mike Babcock is rumored to be a candidate for the Washington Capitals job, and finally the boys react to rumors out of the bubble of the Capitals not even being remotely interested in playing hockey.
September 1st - 2nd Round Update, Coyotes Punishment, Eddie Olczyk future GM?
This week, Nick and Dan discuss the current landscape of the Stanley Cup Playoffs as some heavily favored teams are faltering. The Penguins and Leafs made a trade recently, sending former Penguins draft pick Kasperi Kapanen back to Pittsburgh. The NHL handed down punishments for the Coyotes as a result of violating league rules on scouting. And finally, current Blackhawks/NBC color analyst Eddie Olczyk was interviewed for GM in Florida.
August 20th - RIP Blackhawks, First Round Recap
With the Blackhawks losing in 5 games to the #1 seed Vegas Golden Knights, Nick, Dan, and Kevin recap the Hawks' brief playoff run and look back on what was an up and down season. They dive in to what the Hawks' offseason may look like after now making changes at President and with Danny Wirtz overseeing operations. Additionally, they take a look at the other series' going on and what has surprised them thus far.
August 11th - Blackhawks beat Oilers, Lafreniere Sweepstakes, First Round Predictions
The Blackhawks are officially BACK in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. After Friday night's win against the 5th seed Edmonton Oilers, the Chicago Blackhawks now face the 1 seed Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Nick, Dan, and Kevin react to seeing their beloved back in the playoffs, as well as review the results from the other qualifying series'. With the NHL Draft Lottery Phase 2 taking place just before recording, a live reaction to the New York Rangers winning the Alexis Lafreniere Sweepstakes. The boys then preview the entire first round of the playoffs and give their updated Stanley Cup predictions.
July 29th - Playoff Preview, Seattle Kraken, John Chayka
Finally. We have made it. Just days away from actual NHL playoff hockey, Nick and Dan preview every series in the qualifying round. Additionally, since we last convened, a new NHL franchise was born; the Seattle Kraken, so the boys discuss their thoughts on the teams unveiling earlier this week. And finally, in a somewhat surprising move, Coyotes (now former) GM John Chayka steps down suddenly and the guys bring you instant reaction. Strap up folks.
July 3rd
This week, Nick and Dan discuss the NHL zeroing in on Toronto and Edmonton as the hub cities for the playoffs. Also, for the first time ever, no one won the NHL draft lottery, so the boys discuss the tough news for teams that could have used the #1 pick. Finally, the 2020 HHOF class was announced since our last show, so the boys break down the class that includes the Blackhawk's very own Marian Hossa.
June 24th
This week, Nick and Kevin get together to discuss the NHL's announcement of the final 6 potential hub cities for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Additionally, they discuss the recent hazing allegations brought up by Daniel Carcillo that occured when he was playing junior hockey in Canada. Jason Botterill has finally been fired by the Buffalo Sabres, so the boys discuss what that could potentially mean for Jack Eichel going forward. Finally, a petition is going around regarding the removal/un-retiring of Bobby Hull's state and number at the United Center, so Nick and Kevin share their thoughts on that.
June 5th
In this weeks installment of GWTF, the boys try to fill the gap between now and the return of NHL hockey. The Blackhawks signed a guy named Chalupa, Jeff Blashill and Jason Botterill are somehow keeping their respective jobs, a little discussion on our favorite vintage sweaters that we'd like to see in the playoffs, and a brief discussion on what's going on in the world at this time.

Yesterday, Commissioner Gary Bettman unveiled a plan for an unprecedented 24-team playoff. With all of the various intricacies, the boys break down what this playoff might look like and what we as fans can expect going forward.
