Sisters with an Agenda utilizes the principles of effective mentorship to positively impact the lives of Black girls and Black women. Sisters with an Agenda gives tips, tools, resources and offers a safe space for Black girls and women to engage in non-judgemental dialogue with the goal to provide and build healthy relationships, establish a personal and professional mission, while working on personal development. Taja noted that without her mother and the women mentors she had throughout her life, she would not be where she is today. She wants Black girls and women to have the same mentorship and guidance to feel secure in becoming successful! Taja is also a coach, creator, and advocate in Philadelphia.

I Am What I Speak

Healing From Self-Harm
In this episode of Girl, You So Random, I had the pleasure of talking with Sabriaya Shipley, an author, educator, storyteller, and community ethnographer. In 2019, Sabriaya was named A+ Educator by Philadelphia Magazine. In 2020, she co-founded Griot Girls - a writing collective for young Black and brown girls. In 2021, Sabriaya was a recipient of the Philadelphia Foundation and Forman Arts Initiative Arts Works grant and a Black Lives Matter Philly Educator Fellow. In 2022, the Rosine 2.0 Past Visions/Future Archives Micorgrant, and recently an Allens Lane's Rebeccah Milena Maia Blum Curatorial Fellowship. Sabriaya also authored and published Somewhere Between God & Mammy in 2022. Sabriaya is determined to cultivate performance, art, and archival spaces centered around the expressive freedom of Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities. They have collaborated with The Painted Bride Art Center, The Colored Girls Museum, Mural Arts Philadelphia, Philadelphia Young Playwrights, New Voices for Reproductive Justice, Artwell Philly, Tree House Books, Residency 1111 in London, and more.

From Therapist To Real Estate Agent
In this episode of Girl, You So Random, I had the pleasure of having Tenaya Wade on the show. We talked about her transition from being a therapist to real estate agent, how you can self-sabotage as an entrepreneur and more.
Tenaya is the founder and CEO of Total Healing Counseling and Wellness Center, a behavioral health counseling practice that focuses on providing mental health services and resources to those within the state of Texas. Tenaya is well known around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for the services she provides. Tenaya also manages a blog, The CLH (Coffee, Love, and Happiness) Brand, which is a blog that focuses on the ideology that we can be both happy and healing simultaneously. While the blog is newly launched Tenaya outlines her experiences in the foster care system along with other adversities she and others have overcome. Tenaya holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and expects to receive her Ph. D in Human and Social Services by Summer of 2023 from Walden University.
