Welcome back! In this episode, we discuss Deadly Illusions, Netflix's brand new thriller and absolute critical bomb. We discuss the rights and wrongs of an unreliable narrator, the bizarre Netflix marketing for this film, and why Deadly Illusions maybe (just maybe) should win a GLAAD award. 

In this episode, we discuss Netflix's 2017 fantasy "epic" Bright, a worldbuilding nightmare from top to bottom! We talk about the implications of orc racism, the botched influence of modern fantasy worlds on Bright's construction, and the dangers of revisionist/reconstructive history in fiction.

What a stupid movie- what a sick, masochistic episode! We dive into the 2008 teen romance classic Twilight, a movie that none escaped the mid 2000s fully unscathed from. We discuss our wildly varying relationships with Twilight when the books/movies were being released, what we think of the film's renaissance in recent years, and, of course, whether we were Team Edward or Team Jacob.

We discuss the movie's bizarre structure, our love for secondary romantic interest Trevor, where exactly this movie takes place, and most importantly, what makes a teen drama actually good. The most highly anticipated episode of the season - After (2019)! We discuss After's bizarre and controversial origin, the changes made between a horrifying fanfic to a milquetoast teen drama, and what the ethics are in showing quasi-sensual scenes in movies aimed at impressionable audiences. 

Happy Halloween! This week, we're talking about Unfriended, the first ever mixed-media horror movie about a Skype ghost! We talk about our desire to be haunted by a Skype ghost, how long Hannah and Lily were effectively scared by the Skype ghost, and how much we personally would have done to prevent the Skype ghost's tragic fate.

We're back babyyyyy! We're celebrating the end of our hiatus with a spooky movie for a spooky month, 2017's The Bye Bye Man! We discuss the insanity of the cast, our own personal takes on cheap horror movies, and whether or not we would swipe right on the Bye Bye Man's Tinder profile.

We discuss the first film and its origins as Twilight fanfiction, our nostalgia over watching these films for the first time together, and the certain je ne sais quoi of a film series that made BDSM a mainstay of cultural discourse.

We discuss, in these spoiler-heavy final thoughts on the show, our love for the characters, our concern over the final fate of the series, and what will become of Clay's crime-obsessed alter ego once he goes to college.

For this week's episode, Hannah, Anna, and Lily tackle the controversial new Netflix Polish romantic drama, 365 Days! We discuss our takes on this disturbing romance, the lengths to which Anna's hypothetical Stockholm syndrome would go, and how this movie compares to its American predecessor, 50 Shades of Grey.
