The amazing underdog season of the Ravens comes to end in my 6th annual let's play of Madden 06 for GBA, the single most generic description I've ever written omfg I hate it but I can't deal with it right now I'll change it later

We've been let loose into the mysterious land of Filgaia to explore finally! And I immediately find trouble, a town that's unearthing ancient relics to put on display for a festival, of course that won't end badly at all and I talk to a parrot to switch bodies and try to get the boys to rendezvous! Honestly this whole episode was mostly exploring the town and talking to people while I rant about FF16 more and stuff but I also find the single best feature in any game ever, a built in pixel art tool that lets you make custom art for in game icons omfg! I've had a love hate relationship with Soul of Rebirth, leaning towards hate, so I decided to call it quits but let's try to take down Ultima Weapon and the unknown palace one more time at least but first me and the babe argue for half an hour about who would win in a fight, Godzilla or King Kong, the obvious choice being Godzilla. So bucket in for the possible finale of Final Fantasy 2 Soul of Rebirth!

After a tiny bit of grinding it's time to fight Ultima Weapon and tackle the Unknown Palace! And, of course, rant more about Final Fantasy 16 and talk about everything except the game I'm playing until the game demands my full attention and I rage quit.

The season is quickly coming to a close and we're making quite the comeback, starting the season off 0-5 we've worked our way to a 4-5 record and still a chance at the playoffs! Back to back Superbowls maybe?

I played the demo for the new Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and the main character had me acting up, there's apparently a game with this handsome buff man simulator? And I finally started watching an LP of Final Fantasy 16 and oh boy do I have a rant. Besides that I talk a little about Trek to Yomi, updates on my Madden and FF2 LPs and announce my new Kofi!

We continue our romp through hell with the boys, dying constantly and meeting up with our last party member! Finding a town and buying a bunch of new equipment! And I talk about Tony Hawk and Sleeping Dogs and stuff, I don't know, I waited too long to write the description and I forgot what happened! But we made good progress and found...portals?

The annual Madden let's play continues finally, this week against our team last year AND the returning super bowl champions!

Last year I played the excellent Final Fantasy 2, my first 8 bit FF game and ever since then I've said I would go back and play the extra expansion thing Soul of Rebirth and it's finally time! So let's dive back into whatever this land is called and do stuff or whatever, I don't know what to write here!

Happy new year! Let's go to war with Orcs! Warcraft 2 is a classic and one of my favorite games of all time and I haven't played it since I was a wee lad. I was playing it a little on my own until I got to mission 4 and unlocked a core memory so come with me as I take over the sea with battleships!

I had a lot of random things to talk about, like the weird milk ads I've been seeing and the mystery of the naked guitar girl on tiktok but also my plans for the podcast, including voting on the next series! Just another game of the year podcast except this one is highly controversial and unhinged because neither Spiderman 2 or Baldurs Gate 3 even made my list, neither did Alan Wake 2! But two games from 1997 made my top 5, it's a wild list. Plus it's a top 13 games list not including a plethora of honorable mentions. Buckle up.

Monster Rancher might be the best monster raising simulator, I adore it and I can't stop playing it. There's also an anime about it and I love that too! It's centered around generating monsters from CDs. Luckily, the new switch port just lets you type the name of an album or artist. So let's get us a monster with a Rick Astley's classic Never Gonna Give You Up and raise them to be a champion!

Sometime before the year 2277 there was a man named Gary who survived a nuclear fallout by seeking shelter in an underground vault. To kill time he studied and tinkered until he accidentally discovered how to clone, so naturally he cloned himself, so he can be everywhere at once but unbeknownst to him the clones were unstable, but that's not the important part of the story, no. The important part is a few clones went missing, vanishing out of an air tight underground bunker. None of the other Gary's knew how they escaped but in reality they got thrown into an alternate dimension, into a cataclysm of their own! Easing myself back into making content so here's an hour of me talking about whatever has been on my mind for the past couple of weeks including how awful pokemon esports are, how awesome basketball is and everything in between.

Shadow Tower is From Software's brutal, forgotten masterpiece that's been overlooked for way too long. So I played through the entire thing (spoiler, I loved it) and I had a lot of thoughts. So let's discuss all the interesting mechanics and do a deep dive of the lore and theorize on what I think might be the biggest unsolved gaming mystery!

I just finished the first Bioshock and it was perfect and I had A LOT of thoughts about it that I desperately needed to share, so I did while I went on a long walk on Skyrim. I also rant about mental health stuff and talk about future plans for my YouTube channel!

Phantasy Star is the perfect game that Sega somehow made perfecter with this Sega Ages version that adds so many quality of life stuff! And I finally got it with extra gold points, so let's play it and talk about it and the series as a whole because I love Phantasy Star and I need more of it in my life but also I'm very scatterbrained and disjointed in this episode and I don't think I had one cohesive thought in this entire episode, I'm sorry, enjoy!

People are super mad that Starfield has pronouns despite every Bethesda game ever lets you pick your gender, it's insane, let's rant about it but also talk about some games I've had my eye on, GTA 6 being $150, Magic The Gathering and so many random topics. Classic Happy content.

I got my hands on a copy of Double Dragon Gaiden and I had to record my first reaction, being a huge Double Dragon fan and omg, oh my god, I was not disappointed. This game is amazing and faithful to the source material while adding in rouge-like elements and qiwjhdfjflowlwckdke go play this now!

I've been playing Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet and I've baffled by the story, or lack there of, and I had to rant about it and a mix of weird story things in Final Fantasy 7 that I never could wrap my head around, all while playing the very boring PUBG and also talking about the Twitter rebranding to X, among other things.

I somehow managed to keep my friends alive in the Darkest Dungeon, a normal person would stop there but I'm far from normal so let's press our luck and dive deeper!

Darkest Dungeon is a game about death and going mad and I'm in love with it! I also suck at it so let's name a group of heros after my closest friends and fiance and try to keep them all alive while exploring dark, decrepit catacombs and facing eldritch horrors beyond our imaginations, surely this can't go wrong.

I decided, if I lose the 2024 presidential election I'll just become king instead, no votes needed for that. Let's get a test run of my ruling ability by playing Yes, Your Grace! A managerial kingdom simulator visual novel type thing for the Switch.

Pikman is an adorable game about finding things with the help of tiny, cute, colorful, plant things and weird two legged dogs. Along side lil aliens who just won't stop talking. This is my first ever Pikman game! So let's finally see what all of the fuss is about with this newly released Pikman 4 demo where I surely won't rage playing this super cheerful chill game otherwise I'd probably have an anger problem.

With all of the political talks I did recently I thought it'd be fun to take a political compass test to see where I would stand and I'm using this opportunity to throw my hat in the ring for the Presidential election. Deej for President 2023, don't worry I've played Stellaris before.
