In this meditation we talk about the remaining methods for deriving power from biological materials. My opinions on what is best suited for small scale, individual, off grid situations are mine, and please speak up if you disagree.

Bioenergy alternatives are great and all, but this is a subject that requires a bit of a deep dive. I was woefully underprepared for the amount of research I needed to do to cover this, so these Meditations will be shorter, for my practical purpose as well as to ensure I am giving my best information.

Bioenergy, what is it, and what are the pros and cons of using it? Is it worth the hype, does it scale well down to the community or individual home?

Energy alternatives are the gateway to separating from grid dependency while simultaneously maintaining a semblance of the convenience of modern life. Empathy, as a psychological phenomenon, seems to be not as elusive as one might think. In today's sermon I talk about empathy, and delve into types of empathy, and how it strengthens the relationships in your lives.

Acceptance, Boundaries, and Compromise, the push and pull that naturally occurs between individuals, is important to the structure of life long relationships.

Hubba Hubba Hubba, Who do you Trust?!? Trust is one of those social phenomena which interpersonal relationships are founded upon. In this sermon we talk about Trust, how it relates to truth, and in what way it is foundational to interpersonal relationships.

Respect, as a common human function for living in a community, has to be a baseline trait carried among all members of of any social group. It is easy for this to go wrong though, as respect is one of those words that is not bound to a singular meaning, even regarding human to human interaction.

Sermon 60: Dangerous Humanity

Today I talk about the Quote: "You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless." Ownership, Love and How we can reconstruct healthy loving relationships with our fellow humans. I do reference C.S. Lewis' 1960 piece "The 4 Loves" but take it out of context of the Judeo-Christian parameters and explore it in the light of interpersonal human relationships and taking ownership (or making part of oneself) of the ones we love.

As I am coming to the end of what I want to talk about in specific Men's Mental Health, I would be remiss if I did not talk a little bit about why I avoid the subject of women's mental health. I Reiterate the possible culprits, talk about what is not the issue, and how I think we can move forward!

Alpha, Beta, Delta, Sigma, Omega, "Top G"...

These terms are being thrown around by influencers and media like they are relevant to human society, either beneficial things or excuses to why some do not succeed. It is far beyond time that people actually have a rational conversation about these terms and their unintended consequences on human civilization and society as a whole.

It is a good start to talk about why we need spaces for men, or how they could form, it is another thing entirely to make them happen. In this sermon I am talking about just that, strategies to make this happen, what needs to be avoided and what needs to be a focus. If you are a man, or you are a woman that knows a man that is combatting loneliness, you may want to tip them in this direction, for their own benefit.

What are men's only spaces, where did they go? Is there any benefit to having places where men can be among other men in absence of women? What has happened since the disbanding of public men's spaces, and has it really been better for anyone, men or women?

This is the continuation of last weeks Sermon, I finish up talking about Shoe and elaborate a little deeper into the "factional" responses to the issue, how they address it, and how it fails to really combat the problem.
