Why Vintage Podcast Ep.6 (Christmas Special 2020): Why Do We Love Vintage at Christmastime?
This week I am joined, for the special Christmas episode, by the gorgeous Kendra Law and Jacquie Lounsbury to see if we can answer the question why do we love a vintage at Christmastime?
Talking everything from kitsch christmas, to thrifted presents, to how a Lipstick and Chrome brooch is made, and even a few exclusives!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Why Vintage Podcast Ep5: Why does vintage create a community?
Why Vintage Podcast Ep4: Why does vintage help people through chronic illness? part 2.
Why Vintage Podcast Ep3: Why Do We Love Vintage Music?
This week I am joined by the fantastically talented Miss Trixie Holiday talking about her new lockdown album and the comfort of vintage music.
Why Vintage Podcast Ep2: Why does vintage help people through chronic illness? part 1.
P.s. This was recorded before the protests in America, any reference to ignoring what is going on in the world is not meant to cause offence. Black Lives Matter. Vintage style not vintage values.
Why Vintage Podcast Ep. 1: Why does vintage bring us so much joy?
This week the delightful Rebecca Rowlands joined me to answer the question "why does vintage bring us so much joy?"
Is it the fun prints, the thrill of a good bargain, or is it being able to be ourselves and the confidence that brings? Listen in to find out!
Why Vintage Podcast Trailer
Hello and welcome to the Why Vintage podcast. My name is Hattie McCann, I have been wearing vintage and vintage reproduction clothes for a few years now and it just makes me very happy so I wanted to share some of that happiness with you in to find an answer to the question why do we love vintage so much, other than just because. Each episode I will be joined by a wonderful member of the vintage community talking about why they love vintage. Ranging from how it has helped them through chronic illness, helped them love their bodies, find joy and dance for the love of it. I hope that you will join me for happy stories and lots of smiles.
See you soon and toodle pip.
