Ep: 21 We're Back! (Not the movie, just us)
After a long and unplanned hiatus we're back and we're excited to talk about what we've been up to. Not Off, though, we'll be back on the gay agenda soon. In the meantime Hayden wanted to talk about the weird themes in Night in the Woods, and Lu was excited to share a look at the sexy robots of Warframe.

It's Christmas Day so we're talking about the 2015 movie Krampus. When a family loses the Christmas spirit it unleashes an evil version of Santa with hooves and dental problems and far more vore than any of us remembered. We discuss the thematic impact of code switiching, the power of character arcs for the ones who survive into the second act of a film, and the true meaning of family.

Ep 19: The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus
With the winter deep upon us it's time to visit a lesser known Rankin/Bass film about the Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, as well as take some time to think about Santa himself. We talk about whether Santa even did anything in this film, the surprise monster Lu didn't remember from the film, and how old we were when we figured out the Santa myth. Then Hayden finally digs down to explain why the term "daddy" makes him uncomfortable.

We explore this absolutly fantastic movie with a deep dive into the radical love and honesty of the Addams's's's's's, the reason why the Addams embrace the villain of this film, and the many perils of summer camp. We also discuss the famous Thanksgiving scene, why it's important, and where it may not hold up, if you want to skip past this rather tough discussion you can jump to 1:03:00, or if you're interested in some discussion of Thanksgiving from an actual Native perspective check out these articles: https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-orange-thanksgiving-history-20171123-story.html, https://truthout.org/articles/the-future-is-indigenous-decolonizing-thanksgiving/.
