Ep13 - Oklahoma University asst. Coach Hartman talks about his path to Division Coaching (HBSML)

Coach Carlin Hartman (currently coaching at Oklahoma University) is set to enter Tulane University's basketball hall of fame. Hartman ended up 10th in scoring (1,180 points), 3rd in field goal percentage (52.8 percent), and 7th in career steals (146). At the turn of the last decade, Coach Hartman was named to Tulane's 1990s All-Decade Team as the university celebrated its 100-yrs of basketball. Here on HBSML, Hartman talks about his playing days as a high school player, and the decision to play at Tulane as opposed to the other offers he was getting. Once he chose Tulane, he quickly realized he made the best decision for his career. Hartman made some great strides into his professional stint before suffering a knee injury that would sideline him for good. Carlin is as resilient and respectable as they come, so he quickly rose through the coaching ranks. Poised to make his head coaching debut someday, he currently sits at Lon Kruger's right hand. I know you're tempted to, so dive in!
