Be a Light with Dr. Candice McQueen

There is no better way to kick off Season 3 than with Dr. Candice McQueen! Dr. McQueen was appointed the first female president of Lipscomb University in August of 2021. She has more than 20 years of experience in education spanning classroom teaching, higher education leadership, state government and nonprofit sectors. It was an honor for our team to sit down and have a conversation with Dr. McQueen, and it is exciting to see how our ministries align as we work together to create a better global community.

Episode 11: How You Can Help Ukrainian Refugees

Today’s bonus episode features an important conversation with Gary Jerkins, President and CEO of SeaStar Kids, on the crisis in Ukraine that is heavy on all of our hearts. Healing Hands International has partnered with SeaStar Kids to purchase and ship 10,000 buckets of basic essentials to Ukrainian refugees. To help with immediate needs, HHI has provided funding for housing, food, transportation and medicine to trusted partners in Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Moldova, and Romania.

Time and time again, we are reminded that our greatest weapon is prayer. The battle belongs to the Lord. Let's fight this battle on our knees for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine and Russia and the surrounding countries.
