He is a former college athlete turned personal trainer, who has always had a passion to bring health and life to those around him. Dr. Humphrey maintains memberships with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine, the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, the Holistic Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has pursued additional training in laser release of symptomatic tongue tie, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implants, occlusion and is an alumnus of the Panky Institute For Advanced Dental Education as well as the Spear Education Center. He is also the only SMART Certified dentist in the state of Kansas and the KC Metro. He set up his first practice in general care optometry in Hiawatha, Kansas beginning in 1977. Fifteen years ago, he integrated developmental optometry into his practice.
