030 Perfectionism + Your Inner Critic with Melanie St. Clair of the Modern Day Mystic
Melanie St. Clair is a mindset coach who believes our greatest gift and responsibility is to heal ourselves. Her mission is to help you heal so that your inner child doesn't run your business and your most powerful CEO self does. She's helped her clients hit their biggest income months without letting people pleasing, perfectionism, and an overly complicated relationship with money stop them. When she's not helping her rockstar clients, you can find her traveling the world (or to the grocery store) with her husband Jeramia, sipping matcha lattes, or hopelessly trying to get her cats to take selfies with her.

028 Habits of Successful Freelancers
In this episode, we’re talking about the habits you need to develop in order to become a successful freelancer. Being your own boss is so awesome, because it brings so much freedom into your day, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility. You are responsible for managing your own time, your own paycheck, and choosing your priorities.
Building and running a successful service-based business comes down to the small things you do every single day. Those little decisions add up and accumulate over time. In his book, The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg explains how 99% of the things we do every day are completely on autopilot. And that’s actually a good thing, because if you had to think about every little thing you do every day, you would lose your mind. But as a freelancer, as someone who wants to build a better life for yourself, it is so important that you think about your habits and curate them to fit the person and business owner that you want to be.
027 Create a Client Experience that Wows Clients + Generates Referrals

Streamlining workflows and processes helps your client see you as the talented professional you truly are. Today we're sharing what we do in our own businesses to help spark inspiration in what you can do in your own freelance business.

Your website is the foundation on which you will build the rest of your marketing strategy! It’s where you are going to be sending everyone to learn about you, who you are, and what you do. So it’s easy to want to start your website, jump on all the social media platforms, and just do #allthethings #allatonce. The reality is, you should approach your marketing like a video game. Step back, and master one level before moving onto the next one. In this first episode, we talk about how to start building your online presence with a website and landing page.
005 In Person Networking for Freelancers
In this episode, we talk about in-person networking for freelancers! In-person networking is one of the most powerful things you can do when you’re building an online, service-based business. Most of our clients are from our in-person network. Plus, working from home can be lonely - so it’s valuable to connect with like-minded people who you can bounce ideas with. 004 Building Passive Income Streams with Affiliate Marketing
Trading time for money is an easy exchange. But have you ever thought about putting in the work first to reap the benefits later? In this episode, we talk about affiliate marketing from a freelancer’s perspective! While affiliate marketing streams can be “passive,” they also require a lot of work to set up - and then work along the way to maintain! But the main appeal to affiliate marketing is it’s one way that you aren’t exchanging time for money. http://heartcenteredservice.co/episode/4
