What Does It Mean to Be Salty? With Phil Hopper

What Does It Mean to Be Salty? With Phil Hopper

Pastor Phil Hopper is joining me today and we’re talking about the difference between a Biblical issue and a political issue (or whether there is a difference at all) and the flak he is getting from the media for a recent sermon he preached. Don’t miss this encouragement from Phil on how we can be salty in our communities.

Kindergarten Teacher Fired for Exposing Inappropriate Curriculum with Courtney Allen

Kindergarten Teacher Fired for Exposing Inappropriate Curriculum with Courtney Allen

Courtney Allen, a former kindergarten teacher, joins me today to share her story of being fired for refusing to comply with controversial curriculum and weekly testing mandates. She is exposing the inappropriate sexual indoctrination being pushed on young children in schools and the lack of support from other teachers. Courtney started Patriot Pre-K, a platform that provides age-appropriate curriculum and stories with morals and values. She is here to encourage parents to get off the bench!

I’m also answering a listener question about a family member getting engaged to a same sex partner from a grieving listener. Listen in!

Mailbox Monday | Suffering in Little Children and Stewarding Our Gifts Well as Stay At Home Women

Today is Mailbox Monday and it is the day of the week where I get to answer listener questions. I love these days! We've got some tough ones today. We're going to wade into some theologically deep water, such as why does God allow suffering, particularly as it relates to a little child? And there's a mom who wrote in to me to say that she's struggling with the emotion of shame as it relates to the gifts that God has given her. Should she stay home with her children? Should she go to work? Is she stewarding the gifts that God has given her? Listen in to hear these questions and more!

EXTENDED: Head Coverings, Backtalking in Children, Taking State Dollars for Homeschooling, Childhood Salvation

I’m answering great questions today! Why do women wear head coverings in church? What do you do with a 4 year old who talks back? My friends are accepting the state scholarship money for homeschooling, but I’m hesitant. What do you think about these? How do I know if I was saved as a child?

Come back for Happy Hour where I’m answering a question about two year olds and church services and the Family Integrated Church.

EXTENDED: Standing Firm: Applying Biblical Truth to Cultural Challenges | With Abraham Hamilton III

My friend Abraham Hamilton joins me and we’re talking about the importance of standing firm on biblical principles and the difference between Christian liberty and gospel issues. We’re also focusing on the role of parents in preparing their children for the current cultural landscape and the theology of family and children in today's society. Parents are ambassadors for God and it is critical that we are raising counter-cultural warriors.

Join us for Happy Hour where we’re talking about our growing up years and how we see the role of the family in culture today. We’re talking about some favorite portions of Scripture to read with our children and highlighting the family as the foundation of culture.
