Henrico CTE Now, Episode 28: 2019 End of the Year Recap Show
It has been just over a year since we first started the CTE Now Podcast! In 2018 our director, Mac Beaton asked Reshawn and me to find out what it would take to start a podcast. Neither of us had any experience other than Reshawn having a few years of experience working in radio in college. After some research, getting our equipment and hosting we got started. Since then I think we have done well in our first year. We have a great list of guests in just our first year. From students and parents to business leaders and government officials to teachers. Along the way, I think we have done our part in convincing people the importance of career and technical education and how many companies are searching for properly trained students to start their careers with them.  I hope we can convince even more people the importance of exploring options in high school with Henrico CTE over the next year as we continue to bring important guests to you right here on our CTE Now Podcast! Lookout 2020 CTE Now is here! Questions or comments email: mwroberts@henrico.k12.va.us

This episode is very special. Its subject is about our second annual CTE Signing Day where we recognize and celebrate students who are graduating high school and moving on to the world of work. Please help us honor these great students and employers by visiting our website, henricocte.com, and finding out more and join us on social media @henricocte (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and wish these young men and women well as they start their journey to adulthood on April 23rd.
