In Between the Lines

People don't really talk about what happens AFTER the happily ever after. In our last and final episode, we want to talk about goodbyes and what happens after the scene ends, and why in a way it never does. We only close one chapter in our lives to open another, continuously changing, growing and living. This podcast has been a big part of our lives this year and we want to look hopefully towards the horizon.

We've handled a lot of serious topics on this podcast, but today we wanted to delve into what Valentines means for us and how the holiday has grown to become one about self care and self love. With an opportunity to share more about ourselves and put people to the voices you hear every month, we do our best to offer human aspects of our selves in an attempt to encourage others who may also want to put themselves and their thoughts out there. 

Today is our first episode of the year, which is a time when people make major changes in their lives. However, we want to talk about the portrayal of new years in media and how it perpetuates unhealthy habits for teenagers, along with the rise of fast trends and social media.

Taking a break from our typical heavy topics, we wanted to dive into how the Christmas season has impacted us and the rest of society in a positive influential way. A good way to end the year is to evaluate our blessings and the ways we can also give and share our blessings with others. 

In the fourth episode of our podcast, we’re going to be talking about how it feels to grow up. In our culture, nostalgia is touched upon in almost every conversation about identity. Today we’re going to talk about how growing up has affected us personally and how our past is so impactful in our lives.
