FFRct The Game Changer in the Detection of Coronary Artery Disease with Tom Murphy

.In this episode of the Hey Mufreir! Podcast we are excited to have Tom Murphy, District Sales Manager for AI-Based Structural Heart Sales for HeartFlow FFRct!

Tom advocates for HeartFlow after sharing his personal journey of tests and labs that were not able to accurately point to the arterial narrowing he was having, which led him to have two stents placed. He explains how HeartFlow uses AI deep learning as well as human analysts to have a high accuracy noninvasive CT scan test for the detection of coronary artery diseases. Brian talks about his interest in the matter and shares the reasons behind why he desires to have an FFRct done with Tom. They compare the study to other standard coronary diagnostic procedures and discuss the benefits, availability,  and costs of having it done. Technology has come a long way and is now able to detect more accurately coronary artery diseases and the severity of them, but Tom and Brian talk about how habits in healthcare take a long time to change and how there’s still an information gap in regards to new technology.

Tune in for a special episode that might save someone’s life!

In this episode of the Hey Mufreir! Podcast we are excited to have Taylor Teske!

At 19 years old, Taylor Teske got pregnant for the first time, only to have her first of many miscarriages even though everything in her appeared to be healthy and normal. After having a successful pregnancy, resulting in her now two-year-old daughter, Taylor has kept on trying to have a child with different doctors and approaches. Only now, in her 10th pregnancy, has she been successful in lasting over ten weeks in what seems to be another healthy and successful pregnancy. Taylor advocates for women who have and are going through similar experiences, and helps and supports them by sharing her journey and interacting with them through her growing TikTok account.

We are thrilled to share Taylor Teske’s story, which is worth listening to; please tune in!
