Rapper and entrepreneur Highway Tone sat down with the crew on Episode 33. His 2019 album 'Street Politics' was received with great reviews from music critics & it painted a vivid picture of the life he's living. During the conversation, Tone spoke about how his main goal is to steer the youth in a better direction and not follow his misguided steps he took in his early years.  

Vozhi is a rapper, real estate enthusiast & engineer. He's apart of the ‘Tamil' ethnic group and has many supporters within that demographic. Recently, Vozhi was selected as one of the '425's 30 under 30' honorees. Bandkidjay is a member of Lil Mosey's Northend collective ‘Bandkids’. He's gained acclaim for his videos with Town Ent such as 'Ride Wit Me' ft. Lewie of MKF & his recent video 'For The Weekend' which was released via Friendly Fire. With a new sound and project on the way, JD decided to sit with us so we can know where the 17 year old is at in his career. 

We had the pleasure of chatting with the amazing Holly Michelle for this episode. The Seattle R&B artist has been known to display her talent via the popular app Tiktok & has recently been featured on Frenchyoso's debut album 'Apply Pressure'. Her EP 'Lately' is filled with sounds & vibes that you'll definitely want to add to your playlist. Be on the lookout for her official music video to the track 'F*ck Boy'.

Aomjoby aka Yung Joby is a part of the Seattle based b-boy crew 'Art of Movement' started by brothers Tony & Junior Orduna, as well as Jay Park. His album Social Currency is available on all streaming platforms, Livio joined us for Episode 26 of our Podcast. Livio made his first appearance on the national music scene in 2001 as a young teen, touring with the likes of 50 Cent & working with solidified hip-hop acts including D12, Norega, Spice 1, B-Legit & more. He's still making moves and his latest project is already getting major looks from respected figures across the map. 

World class audio engineer/producer Cameron Kayser of Studio Sage Recording is the special guest on Episode 24. Growing up in Montana, but now putting in a ton of work in the Seattle region - Cam has been mixing & mastering the tracks for many of your local favorites. When he's not on the boards at Studio Sage in Edmonds, you'll catch Mr. Kayser up at Robert Lang on a top-secret mission. A big factor as to why Seattle Rap is having its resurgence - DJ Basskids aka Basskidsonthebeat is our guest for Podcast Episode 23. Beginning his career during his teens working with acts such as Lil B & Chief Keef, Basskids has been destined for greatness early on. Now earned his respect as a producer, he's been doubling down on the mixtapes and songs he's hosting. Not to mention he's DJing at multiple venues/parties every weekend.  

You might've heard his song 'Extra' playing on a local radio station - Big Jone$ sat down with the crew for Episode 22. The Seattle native has been releasing music for quite some time now & he feels its the right moment to take the next step in his career. Seattle emcee D. Mikey representing B.O.C. Music joins the conversation for Podcast Episode 21. D. Mikey teamed up with DJ 18Hundred in 2016 for the “Madison” album and they recently formed a super group “The Madisons”. His work with Intylekt & Micstro for the “Cookie Jar” album garnered a lot of attention with their flawless execution of touring around the city doing shows to promote it. He’s known for his smoking anthems and laid back chill flow mixed with hazy boom bass golden era hip-hop instrumentals. “ZIPS” with beatsbyluca is his most recent project and plans on releasing another full length LP in the near future.

Chino Big Capo Gadaffi of Malitia MaliMob stopped by the studio to discuss what's been new in his world as of lately. Be on the lookout for his new project 'Mr. Ragu' & 'E.A.P. Babies'.

Chopped it up with Mafi D on this one. We brought up how he isn't too happy with the way Seattle's clubs are treating local artists. Drug abuse in hip hop and how it's effecting its community. As well as, artists paying for features. Be on the lookout for his upcoming album and stream his new singles 'Project X' feat. G-Baby & 'Hustle Complete' feat. Babyface Ray.

West Seattle recording artist and member of hip hop collectives Moor Gang & ThraxxHouse - Sneakguapo came on by for a conversation. His 2019 EP 2:22 features JuiceTheGod, Keshawn and DJ Basskids. Sneakguapo has also been chosen recently to play a role in the upcoming film 'Martingale'. Be on the lookout for his new album which will be on all streaming platforms later this year.

For Episode 10 we had Seattle rapper Ralphy Davis come by. His 2018 EP '6 Days 6 Nights' produced & hosted by DJ Basskids was a highly favored local project that displayed clever wordplay and wholesome instrumentals. Ralphy spoke on his upcoming first headline show June 2nd and what he else he plans to execute in the near future. 

We kicked it on 4/20 with Lewie, Rozay, Rdub & Dippiano of Tacoma’s rap group MKF. Fresh off their tour with Lil Mosey, they discussed their recent experiences in this music industry and what is to come in the near future.

On Episode 4, we got Producer/Songwriter Ike Watson & a DJ that goes by the name of ItsTr3nt! These guys have been putting in a lot of hard work in the Seattle music scene. Ike works closely producing for many artists including Lewie (MKF), Keshawn, Jay Loud and much more. ItsTr3nt is the head of a movement called @HardInThePaintSeattle - a showcase that involves local painters and musicians.

For the 3rd episode of the Hip Hop Seattle Podcast, Avatar Darko from H1gher Music pulled up with his good friend Dolce Drako. We spoke about topics concerning the struggles of an artist in Washington State. Avatar also touched on how he helped Lil Mosey get his stolen chain back for him.
