I attended AWS re:Invent 2019 on a scholarship Grant, and also was a subject of AWS's film crew for a week!

I got a kitten. A teeny tiny kitten! How a tiny kitten is helping me with my depression, anxiety, and stress and helping me with "mindfulness" and "grounding."

What does it mean to be "Japanese"? Joshua is a Japanese born and raised 3rd generation "Japanese" with European heritage. But he's considered British, even though he visited the UK for the first time in his life 2 years ago. Hiro is a Japanese born, American raised 1st generation Japanese American. They discuss what it means to be "Japanese" and the eerily similar experiences they've both had growing up in countries where they're always perceived as a "Foreigner."

Most people are aware of the Medical Model of Disability which says that disability is the body's impairment. But not many are aware of the Social Model of Disability, which says that disability is lack of fit between a body and its social environment.

I've just completed my 2nd move in a month, to start my new life in the suburbs, trying to get into remission.
