Season 3 Episode 19: Glory to Glory 

Anchor Scripture - John 1:14⁣

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Our lovely guest @angeliqueorosa shares her and her family’s testimony on how God changed her from being agnostic to a believer who now preaches the gospel and shares the Good News as often as she can. No matter how much we resist, God will always find a way - Hallelujah. Since then, God continues to lift her and her family from glory to glory.

The episode is explicit because it talks about suicide, LGBTQ+ community, mental health and the passing of Beatrice's father. May his soul rest in peace. 

Sometimes we get caught up in what society deems to be the 'university experience' but being around the wrong people can lead us away from God rather than closer to God. Walter shares his testimony about how being lonely in a new country for university caused him to backslide - through drinking, taking drugs and having sex. But something miraculous happened, God heard Walter's prayers and sent him helpers who prayed and interceded on his behalf. 

Many times we go through trials and tribulations and it’s our reaction to it that determines the outcome of those trials. Many people panic and take matters into their own hands, but Daniel is a fantastic example of what to do when we hear bad news. ⁣

Daniel 6:10 - Daniel always prayed to God three times every day. Three times every day, he bowed down on his knees to pray and praise God. Even though Daniel heard about the new law, he still went to his house to pray. He went up to the upper room of his house and opened the windows that faced toward Jerusalem. Then Daniel bowed down on his knees and prayed just as he always had done.⁣⁣

Give it to God. Daniel had built such a strong relationship with God that when he heard this bad news he wasn’t moved by such news - He gave his situation to God and God dealt with it. Anna-Kay shares her testimony on how giving her situation to God changed the course of her life. ⁣

Monique Lyttle shares her testimony about removing herself from situations that were not pleasing to God. She opens her heart for us to see that through her pain, from her father's passing, that God still shows her true joy and true peace. That through allowing God to be the priority and focus in her life, she is now becoming the woman that he has called her to be. It is imperative that we study the character of Jesus. He shows us the times in which we should speak up and times where we need to be silent and allow God to show himself. After all, He is our Father and He is the one who has the Victory and gets the Glory. 

Season 3, Episode 15: End Time General

In this episode Prince Akpatiego shares with us how his faith has been built through every obstacle that he has faced within in his life. In order for us to grow and become all that God needs us to be, we may go through trials. Those trials are what builds you. You cannot avoid long-suffering if you want to get to where God has called you to go. You cannot avoid this if you want to be worthy of his Kingdom. You must be a general and walk in boldness even when it looks bad. It is never as bad as it looks. Long-suffering is a fruit of the spirit and is therefore a part of the process. Not everything that is sent our way is to break us. When God suggested for Satan to test Job, God said do anything you want to him just don’t kill him. Not everything we go through is to kill us, sometimes it’s to build our faith and allow us to grow. Sometimes, to get to the place that you want to be you must go through fire, but the fire is what’s going to mould you into the person that you were destined to be. What you are going through is nothing compared to the wonderful life that God has in store for you. You need to change your perspective. In this episode Karen shares her experience on how God showed her that she was not alone.

Our guest Faith shares her testimony on how she thought everything was over - her cancer, the death of her daughter - but God. God gave her the strength to persevere and overcome.

To kick start this year, Paola Davis shares her testimony on her teenage years and how being in the public eye had an impact on her confidence and her self image. As women of God, or even men, we understand that how people view us and their opinions on us can have an adverse effect on the way in which we view ourselves. Yet, God reminds us that we need to see ourselves in the way that He sees us. That is the best way forward. In this week’s episode, Vanessa shares her testimony on how she was groomed as a teenager and the strongholds that arose because of that. We discuss what the church needs to do to help young girls from being in that situation and the importance of speaking out. This is a very explicit episode that may cause distress so please listen with caution. Although she went through this horrible experience, she was able to gain victory over those strongholds and stands strong today to tell her story. ⁣

In this episode Kevin Green takes us through his childhood experiences and how that shaped him into the man that he is today. Through it all, God reminded him of who God was and is. Sometimes we underestimate or forget the power of our heavenly Father. He sees our pain and he is loving and faithful enough to take us out of it. It may not make sense at the time, but your pain is your story. Sometimes we believe that God doesn't see the suffering in which we go through, but that is where we are wrong. As God was able to hear the cries of those in Egypt and managed to part the red sea to take them out of it, what battles are you facing that you believe is too hard for God?

We dive into what it means to be a lukewarm Christian and how we are able to die to ourselves when our flesh is alive. Many times we think if we do the bare minimum as Christians then it is enough, but Jose shows us that we cannot serve two masters. We cannot keep one foot in the world and another in Christ.

For all that is in the world - the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions - is not from the Father but is from the world.

Serg Lismanis shares his story about how his experience with drugs changed his life drastically. He found himself in a lot of trouble, but he never stopped searching for ways out. He allows us to see that sometimes it takes that one person to introduce you to the light for you to be saved. ⁣⁣

⁣It is easy to hide your addictions, your habits, your actions when you are in darkness. That is why many people are afraid to experience the light because that is when their secrets are exposed. However, nothing good is ever hidden. The more you experience the light, the more you realise that there’s true power on this side. ⁣

⁣⁣⁣John 3:19 - This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

Today's Guest: Angela Gadiare talks us through her miraculous testimony on how God gave her, her speech back. She lost a lot, but God restored her. It's in our weakest moments the we are the strongest. God has the power to restore and preserve you. Wait on the Lord and build your faith in this season.

Episode 18: God’s Calling

This testimony is from Pastor Randy who speaks to us about when God called him. Many times when God calls us, we don’t want to be called. He talks us through his journey with God by being transparent, candid and honest. 

Although he experienced a near death experience, we begin to see that God puts us in places that may seem like the worst place ever - but he makes us realise that this is where we are supposed to be. If he didn’t have this accident he probably wouldn’t have gotten closer to God. He was there for 2 months praying for people and healing people in the hospital. God allowed him to be a blessing for those that he was around.

Episode 8: I am healed.

This episode is based around Stephen’s testimony on healing. 

Anchor: Isaiah 53:5 “By his stripes we are healed.

There are different types of healing, but God will never leave you nor will he forsake you. In times of need continue to cry out to him and ask him to heal you. Heal me oh Lord, Heal me. We are already healed! We just need to manifest and proclaim that healing over our lives. The power of healing is within us. Whenever healing takes place, it takes place due to belief and faith. Whenever Jesus heals anyone he always asks them “do you believe” or “you have been healed due to your faith”. How can you expect healing if you don’t even trust nor believe in Gods divine intervention. I pray that this episode embarks healing into your life and that God will continue to bless you In Jesus mighty name. Do not finish this episode and still be the same person. Declare it over your life. Take it by force. The enemy shall not win. Take dominion over your life and meditate on the His word.

1 Samuel 15:22 Obedience is better than sacrifice. 

Today's episode is a continuation of Episode 5 on Obedience. It is incredibly important to obey God and to follow God's commandments. A relationship with God is not a checklist relationship, you need to ensure that you are really doing what you need to do in order to build that relationship with God. Many Christians pick and choose what they want to follow and this unfortunately leads to our detriment. What can you do as a Christian for your own life to ensure that you are being obedient. First you need to identify what is making you disobedient then you need to make sure that you are tackling those problems. We decided to discuss some aspects of Covid-19 and the difficulties with being at home with families and friends. On the flip side of the podcast, God spoke to me and told me that we should talk about obedience. Obedience it is extremely important. We need to learn to be more obedient. Our lives are connected in so many different ways. Without you being obedient, someone else may not be able to fulfil their purpose. The bible provides many examples of obedience and how as a result of ones obedience, a whole lineage was able to form.

Hebrews 5:5 You are my Son, And today I have become your Father. Welcome back to another episode on Testimony Tuesday. Today's episode is circulated around faith and what it means to have faith in God. The Holy Spirit really took over for this episode. As you can tell we were on fire for God. 

We have all experienced a situation where we have found it difficult to have faith. However, you do not need an abundance of faith, faith as small as a mustard seed is enough. Just continue to hold on, continue to water that seed and see what God does for you. The bible provides many examples of Faith so check out our post tomorrow on scriptures to meditate on.
