Swelling of the feet & ankles- when your kidneys don’t function as they should your body has no way of filtering waste from the blood and removing fluids therefore fluids will build up and cause swelling and some cases extreme edema aka. Fluid Overload 5. Uncontrollable Hypertension-aka. High Blood Pressure- one of the top leading causes of CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) the other being Diabetes, Hypertension that is uncontrolled or uncontrollable with medication, diet and exercise is definitely a sign of kidney disease, the kidneys play a vital role in controlling the Blood Pressure. Controlling Blood Pressure is a key to good health not only for the kidneys but the heart.
