In those 30 secs. we reevaluate how we feel about the movie, and how it's held up. Warner Brothers decided to skip Wonder Woman 2-1983 and go right to Wonder Woman 1984. That doesn't scare The Movie Hoppers though, no sir. WW84 is a case of a movie that started out with critical praise across the board only for the rating to drop like a rock the moment the review embargo lifted. Couple that with bad word of mouth and we should have a guaranteed stinker on our hands, which is exactly why you should watch this review before paying for an HBO Max subscription or wasting valuable bandwidth pirating this 2 1/2 hour movie. I usually say something about the plot here, but it's complicated so you're just going to have to watch the episode I guess. Is Wonder Woman 1984 an instant classic or is the word on the street true? Honestly, if you do remember The Croods, you've probably aged out of the target demographic, which makes this movie very interesting. I'm getting ahead of myself, The Croods: A New Age is the first big theatrically released animated movie since COVID. It follows the Croods as they met the Bettermen and a culture class ensues. Much like the clash that happens in this episode. I know this is pretty long for a video about The Croods 2, but there was some heated debate going on. I've been waiting for this one, and it's finally out. Yeah I know, a movie that Joe actually wanted to watch, this movie must suck! Aiyanna on the other hand....... Anyway, The Climb is an indie comedy about two friends who cannot get along for various reasons. I know that's vague, but you really can't say anything more about it without really digging in which is what this episode is for. Blumhouse is at it again with a new R-rated horror-comedy! Freaky is a horror remake/parody/something of Freaky Friday (which Freaky Friday? I have no clue). Vince Vaughn (bad guy) body swaps with a teenage girl and the girl has to redo it within 24 hours. Okay, yeah, the 24 hour thing is pretty generic, but hey, Vince Vaugh plays a teenage girl, that has to be worth something. Also, the movie comes from the director of Happy Death Day, which has basically the same concept (remaking a beloved comedy as a horror-comedy) and I really liked Happy Death Day. Everything is shaping up for this movie, but that doesn't necessary mean it's good. We'll see. Is Freaky just as good as the original or is it proof that Friday the 13th is bad luck? Oh yeah and I forgot to mention we saw it in Dolby. The Dolby effect was pretty good.

If you asked anyone last year if there would ever be a Borat sequel, they'd call you crazy for even asking. Borat is one of my favorite movies of all time, a bonafide classic if you ask me. Needless to say, Subsequent Moviefilm has a lot to live up to, but I'm going in optimistic none-the-less. This time, Borat is going around America trying to give his daughter away to prominent political leaders, which seems like the perfect plot for a Borat movie. Alright Tenet, play time's over, the big boys are coming out. The War with Grandpa is an adaptation of a kids book that was supposed to come out in 2018, then it got pushed, then Weinstein happened, so we're getting it now. It's a family comedy about a heated battle between a grandpa and his grandson over a room. As one might suspect from this description alone, there is a lot of slapstick comedy. This usually isn't a good sign, but with names like Robert De Niro and Uma Thurman, maybe it'll be okay? Alright, I understand if you're pessimistic about this one, but weirder things have happened. BTS is the most popular KPOP group out there, so it's no surprise that they have a movie. Actually, this is their third movie (that is surprising) and it cornicles the Love Yourself World Tour. Yep, most groups would put their tour movie on DVD, but BTS put it in theaters, three times. That should mean we get a top of the line experience that really makes you feel like you're there, but just because we should get something, doesn't mean we do. The story of Pepe the meme frog is one with laughs, cries, hope, desperation, life, death, and I am not even joking. The movie that is supposed to open the theaters is finally out! Tenet is the new Christopher Nolan film about... uh... time travel. I'm not going to lie, I didn't really understand the mechanics of the film from the trailer, but hey, that's what the actual movie is for! Yep I saw it and yep I understood it! I say "I" because not everyone on the show today had a perfect understanding of the film. But hey, that should make for a pretty good episode. "mixed" reception, so Scoob! is going to have to work overtime to win over fans. Also, it's worth noting that Scoob! is the second major movie to be released on the "premium on-demand" format, so it's also going to have to prove the worth of PVOD movies. We'll see what happens.
