The world is a big stable and we were gifted horses that bear the same name called “Life”. Catering for Life is a full time job, but she went ahead to give birth to a foal called “Adulthood” (bruhh!). Now imagine taking care of Life while coping with Adulthood!(you see where I’m going?). This is why this safe space has been created. Here we learn everything and nothing (to be honest with you, sometimes it’s just vibes) about living through the stories and experiences we’ve had and might have. This is Horsing Around With Nuel#HAWN;I’m Nuel, my horse is tired of riding alone, let’s ride together

There are times we have to be truthful to ourselves.
Are you doing what you do because you love it, or are you doing it for the appraisal of others?
Do you live as a double agent? and how long do you think you could handle the pressure of being someone other than yourself?
This Episode, I share a personal story of myself and hoping you draw something from it. Don't forget to subscribe and share.

As far as 2021 is concerned, the year is still young.
For those of us who have a thought out plan for how the year would turn out- have you started carrying out those plans?
For those, with just a fraction of an idea- that doesn’t mean your year will turn out worse than the rest.
Plan or no plan, what changes the year is your intention and what you prioritize as being important.
In this episode, we talk about some of these issues.

As 2020 comes to an end, it has been a ride filled with all the emotions known to man. I tried to be vulnerable in this final episode for the year. You could watch the video on IGTV @iamcalled_nuel. Thank you for an amazing year. Looking forward to 2021!
Growing up, being different meant I was odd and not special.
Join me on this personal journey as I get vulnerable.

Rejection is not what is portrayed in movies. Understand being told NO doesn't mean your 'village' people are working overtime on your case-NO. It means that's not their preferred choice and that's okay. In this episode, we cover what rejection is and how to handle it.
The background music is from a song by Fiyin Adeniyi called "Perfect Peace". You could listen to it here- https://youtu.be/l3KF7RO0xDo
Happy New Month!
History will have it that we used our voice to speak against every form of tyranny and oppression. We deserve to live with peace of mind in our country. We shouldn't be scared of being innocent simply because our dressing or hairstyle might be what qualify us to be "criminals".
This episode is an encouragement to you and everyone around you, KEEP TALKING. The brutality must stop! #SARSMUSTEND.
Still on friendship. Before you call yourself a good friend, do you understand the concept of friendship? Do you see it as a right or a service to someone? Join us on the last episode of this month to find out. Don't forget to subscribe and share with your friends and family.
It is great and important to be self-aware. However, does it equate to being emotionally intelligent? Are you empathetic towards others or that's not something that you find difficult? This episode is for you.
You feel a different level of hurt seeing your friend go through something that you cannot help them with.
In some cases, you have tried helping but it still seems like you are not doing enough.
Then you should listen to this exciting episode with Etse.
Happy new month!
We are in a time where holding a controversial opinion is seen as being the only thinking person in the room or as we like to say- “you’re woke”. A time where having a contrasting opinion to what is perceived and accepted as “culture” is seen as the greatest sin in the book and you’re dragged by your hairline. The “small” question then becomes, how far does an opinion go before it is tagged “extreme”? When said opinion has been identified as being extreme, where then is the middle and why do people strongly oppose others for not holding same school of thought as them? Yeah, I don’t have all the answers, I’m hoping you’ll add yours so we learn together.
As a creative, accepting our work for what it is can be a hell of a task. This episode we focus on why creatives find it hard to see their creation for how awesome it is. Some of the think pieces I made reference to include- 1. "Don't Allow Perfection Get in the way of progress" by Feranmi Ogundeko. 2. "No Artist is Pleased" by Paul Jun.

Happy New Month and Stay Jiggy!
In this era of culture, we need to know where we stand. Do you hold opinions about people based on what you’ve seen and experience with them or do you hold such opinions based on a single story someone in your ‘gang’ told you?
You’re on a race track, the gun goes and off you go. Eyes set on the finish line...then you trip. From first position, you see yourself dropping. You’ve got two decisions; go back to the starting blocks and begin afresh or look at what made you fall and continue the race. Your move.
They said isolate not procrastinate so what are you doing? Calm down we are all in this together. This episode we look at some misconceptions we all have held on this phenomenon and also we look at the way out. Welcome!
What is your truth? How objective are you? On this episode we tell ourselves the hard truth, we examine a societal issue and ask that hard question; is your bias right or wrong? Ps: I’m sorry we had to be dragged like this, lmao someone had to do it.
What kind of friend are you? What kind of friend does your friend expect you to be? Well that’s why we are here to find out, right? Let’s talk about your friend. And oh, now that you’re here I might also inform you ahead, some things could make you mad in this 😂I’m sorry, I had to. Welcome!
Annnnnnnnndddd we have a lift off!! You heard of a house warming? Or a link brought you here? You’re in the right place. Yes, we are partying today and Yes, we are observing the rules (Stay in your house people). Welcome to Horsing Around With Nuel!!! Before the start of something great, it will be nice to know you too! This episode is an avenue for us to know each other and get a test run of the energy we would share together, starting off with being at peace in this time.
