The Winchester Mystery House is a mansion in San Jose, California, that was once the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearms company owner, William Wirt Winchester. Since its construction in 1886, the property and mansion were claimed by many to be haunted by the ghosts of those killed with Winchester rifles. Under Winchester's day-to-day guidance, its "from-the-ground-up" construction proceeded around the clock, by some accounts, without interruption, until her death. It is believed that due to the way Rosemary was treated, it started what was later called "the Kennedy curse", which involved the deaths of several members of the Kennedy family. Rosemary did live to the age of 86 but not without some horrendous events, including a rather horrible procedure, a lobotomy.

Hey there squirrel friends! Today Kate and I have a short one for you today, the murder of 23 year old Katarzyna Zowanda. She was murdered in 1998, but the first arrest was not made in this case until 2017. And as of September 2019, her killer has still not been taken to trial.
