Tracey discusses how she defied the doubters who said she would find it almost impossible to secure an opportunity back in the Private Sector after over a decade in the Public Sector.
Little did Tracey know that the experience she gained in the public sector would subsequently help secure her a future role as a senior consultant with one of the ‘Big Four’, PwC, or that contributing to pandemic planning whilst with the NHS Ambulance Service and her commitment to health and wellbeing, born from her health and social care HR career, would be of such value 6 years later in 2020 with the Covid-19 outbreak.
Tracey has a passion for gender equality and gained a doctorate degree from the University of Leicester where she undertook extensive research in the area of ‘women and work’. Tracey shares her thoughts on the greater agile working which will arise from the new norm and her fear that extensive home working could serve to marginalise or disadvantage women in the longer term if only women predominantly choose that way of working.
