Today on America's Town Hall with Heidi St. John, we are airing a special episode with Washington State House of Representative Jim Walsh. He joined Heidi live from Congress and together they discussed several topics, including live audience questions answered. Today on the show we're talking about the Second Amendment, Kyle Rittenhouse, and why we must continue to defend our right to defend ourselves. 

For the first 200 years of American History, Congressional races were about electing a qualified person who understood and who could best represent the issues of a particular Congressional District. Unfortunately, in recent years we have seen this change. I’m addressing this and my recent press release in this episode of America’s Town Hall with Heidi St. John.

Last Friday, Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Brown was killed while on duty in Vancouver, Washington. We must end the shameful narrative that the Democrats continue to use to erode public confidence in our LEO’s. Also, I’ll be addressing the question of Unions from a listener.

Many freedom loving Americans are asking questions they never imagined they would ask about their government: when do we rebel? What is it prudent? When is it practical? The reasons these questions are being asked are obvious: in a gross overreaction to Covid, we have allowed the civil government to strip away the freedom of millions of Americans—and the results have been disastrous, paving the way for even more government overreach in the months and years to come. The job of government is NOT to protect us (our health, etc), it is to protect our God-given rights.

In the name of “protecting” us, many states are working instead at stripping us of our basic freedoms. Consider this: just about everything in life has a fair amount of risk involved. Driving a car can be risky. Eating certain foods can be risky. Climbing a ladder can be risky. Living in a world with various viruses can be risky. Taking a vaccine against such viruses can be risky. The bottom line is simple: where there is a risk, there must be a choice. Rick Green and I discuss why every American should be standing for MEDICAL FREEDOM and why it’s the Civil Rights issue of our generation.
