A disappointing Easter saw City capitulate against Stoke, with results not going in our favour on Monday with our loss against Leeds putting play off chances firmly on the back burner. Oscar was back on the scoresheet as City put in a second impressive performance in a row against a strong Coventry side. Improved performances across the board were a joy to watch, and with Burnley coming up mid-week there was no better time for City to pick up the paces. Reading are our opponent this weekend as we look to avenge a disappointing pre-World Cup loss.

A great and reasonably unexpected win over WBA saw a turnaround in City's fortunes after a 4 game winless run. City are now settling quite comfortably into mid-table which leaves us in the role of spoiler for the play off picture. Another defeat to make it four games without a win and City's form has fallen off a cliff at the wrong time. We look back on defeat at Ashton Gate in the context of the remainder of our season, look ahead to West Brom in what promises to be a now-or-never clash.

A second 0-0 in three games, this time against Preston North End in a strangely strong overall performance despite the result. A number of missed chances costing us the three points, but an impressive debut from Xavier Simons. Well we came crashing back to Earth with a dour draw at Stoke before being touched up at Norwich which bursts the promotion dream just as it was forming in our heads.
