Although Tina enjoyed studying anthropology, she learned she also had a passion for entrepreneurship. In 2011, Tina and her husband co-founded (and are still current owners of) Redwood Therapy and Youth Services, an agency that provides out-patient mental health therapy and rehabilitates foster children in the state of Utah. In 2012 Tina developed a love for baking, specifically island inspired flavors, and started Cheat Day Bakery out of her home. 2 years later, in 2014, Tina and her family relocated to American Samoa and Tina restarted Cheat Day Bakery. Cheat Day was in instant success, specifically with her creation of Koko Samoa Brownies which have travelled all around the world. She has infused many island flavors into her desserts and owns the only dessert bar on the island. Following her love of sharing her culture, she has also created a small clothing line using Samoan designs which she designs, has manufactured and exports to retailers in Hawaii.
