Today, so many health issues come from a lack of nutrients in our agriculture. Where agriculture falls short, aquaculture is quickly picking up the slack! Spirulina is a type of algae that has been recognized (along with chlorella) as one of the world’s healthiest foods. With a laundry list of research-backed health benefits, including obesity reduction, cancer prevention, and immune support, it’s no wonder why so many people are turning to spirulina as a source of balanced nutrition.
Catharine, Founder & CEO, started ENERGYbits after her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and advised by her oncologist that an alkaline diet would help her heal. She sprung into action to help her sister research alkaline foods and in the process she discovered algae. When Catharine learned that algae was the most alkaline, plant-based, nutrient-dense food in the world and had been used for 50 yrs in Asia to improve health & longevity, she knew she had discovered something BIG. www.energybits.com

She's not talking about busting out into splits while your chicken is sizzling on the stove! What she really means by “flexible” is learning to let go, giving yourself a break more often, inhaling confidence, and bending the rules so you can live the life you crave both in and out of the kitchen.
After 25 years of experimenting with various restrictive diet and fitness fads—like the time she crunched her way through the cracker diet or sipped her way to skinny with the lemonade diet. She learned that living such a rigid life is exhausting. When your willpower is constantly tested, you’ll eventually find yourself elbow deep into a vat of cookie dough. Sound familiar?
In the interview Nealy gives helpful tips on how to stay healthy & fit in the kitchen, when you travel and when your managing a family.
It happens to the best of us. A day or weekend of Holiday barbecues, pool parties, and picnics can make the next day feel even less appealing than usual. Plus, overdoing the alcohol and food wreaks havoc with your body and mind in some potentially serious ways.
Regardless of why or how you have overeaten or drank too much, you can mitigate the effects of an indulgent day or weekend by taking a few small steps that involve putting aside the past and focusing on optimizing the future.
Here's my healthy and fit action plan to move you in the right direction after major food or drinking alcohol indulgences.
