NSFW!  There are so many f-bombs in this episode, it's like Tarantino wrote it.  I took some time off, got the election out of my system, recharged the ole batteries, and was ready to resume podcasting in 2021.  I even had a topic researched and an episode ready to record.  Then a bunch of brown-shirts, at the behest of the Orange God King, stormed the Capitol Building to try to put the fear of God, or to hasten their meeting God, in the United States Congress and/or the Vice President of the United States.  So, guess what this episode is about.  I'm not kidding about the language, though.  This was a cathartic expulsion of 5 years of frustration culminating in an epic rant instigated by an epic, historical event (and not a good one).  There's not even music in this episode except at the beginning and the end.  If you're a Trump fan or a Trump supporter, and you don't want to hear it, you should probably skip this one.

On May 30th, 2020, I recorded a complete episode in the days after the murder of George Floyd, weeks after the murder of Breonna Taylor, and months after the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.  I stopped in the middle of my edit and held onto the episode, greatly influenced and persuaded by my #podfamily on Twitter.  Now, after more time and more perspective, I'm adding my contribution, such as it is, to the ongoing discussions that we're all having on these issues.  It's a show within a show, so to speak, with my quasi-visceral thoughts in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder.

In honor of the One-Year Anniversary of the show, I thought it would be nice to walk down memory lane by rebroadcasting the Pilot Episode (back when the show was called I Have Questions).  However, to score cheap publicity, I've remastered this episode to improve the audio quality of my voice (because it's all about me), replaced the intro music with something that sounds better, as well as exit music.  The music added are new compositions (using loops in Garageband).  And, much like Dark Side of the Moon, I'm sure this will not be my only crack at remastering this episode (see me in 2020).

There is a random error in the editing, which I apologize for, but it doesn't effect the overall mini-sode.  This is the first part in a series going into select aspects of our current trade policy and some of the background that goes into them.  

After the ultimate geekiness of the Star Wars Megasode, I thought I'd wade into the Mueller Report and try to put it into context to a certain extent.  But rather than rehash the report, which you should try to read, I thought I would recite directly from other sources instead.

I'M BACK!!!  A 2.5 hour episode had to be broken up into two parts.  Why so long?  Star Wars...nuff said...

THE SHOW'S NOT DEAD!  

The recent turmoil in Virginia regarding Gov. Ralph Northam's, alleged, prior racial insensitivities allowed me to swing back around to Episode 6.  It's not necessary to listen to Episode 6 before this Quick Hit, but you should definitely swing around to it to get the full context.  

If you're not comfortable with a 5-letter word that rhymes with cleanest the meanest, this is probably not a good one for you.  

A contemporaneous episode about current events...more or less.  Within 24 hours of this episode being recorded, one topic discussed had changed...go figure.  

A kid-friendly episode!  Given my podcast obsession, I thought I would recommend 5 audio dramas that I thoroughly enjoy (as much as my opinion matters).  Be warned.  "EOS 10" and "Hello From The Magic Tavern" are not kid-friendly, if your kids are under the age of 15 or so.  These audio dramas should be on any platform where you get your podcast fix from.

This is likely the last episode of 2018 and it seemed appropriate to address one of the more cynical efforts at generating controversy in recent years (Can you tell my view on this question?).
